Mike was the rudest attorney I’ve ever spoken to. The receptionist was kind, but when I asked, “Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?” he said, “You called me.” I explained I was just being respectful and gave my name.
When I asked about my situation, he said, “$3,000.” I said that seemed high, and he replied, “There you go asking for free legal advice again.” Ironically, I ended up explaining things to him he didn’t even know what a letter of memorandum was.
I said, “God bless,” and hung up. I never write reviews, but save yourself the trouble

this law firm ask me to pay $500 for consultant fee before a lawyer talked to me, I paid $500 upfront after I talk to lawyer, I was not satisfied so I didn't hire lawyer. The next month they send me a $6.35 bill for some invoice I don't understand. I had already paid the consult fee which I agreed to when I called. Nobody wanted to help so I got tired of the hassle for $6.35, I gave them my credit card to pay, and of course, they still charged me the credit card fee also. Oh my god this firm is worse than Uncle Sam. thanks God, I didn't hire them.
Sydney and Peter are the absolute best. Whatever request you have, they are going to figure out the most efficient way to make it happen. I love working with this firm!
No good or bad review either way, I was just wondering if this business is still in operation; I sent a very detailed email in regards to my circumstances which matchs there practice area and no one responded, I don't believe there operating because I have had several representations and they always answer representation Inquiries
Owner response
Mr. Storey, my apologies for no one getting back to you. You may email me directly at jcornwell@plunkettcooney.com. I will be happy to help you contact one of our attorneys for your matter. Thank you for thinking of us!
I only write reviews when necessary. Let me tell you, this firm and it's worker(s) are so unprofessional to be claiming as a law office to "help you". I tried reaching out in need of help with one of the lawyers who mind you don't OWN the firm but work for it. They were beyond rude, threatening and unresponsive. I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone, unless some changes in their staff and how they conduct business is changed. People come to places like this for HELP, not to be turned away, not to be treated "crazy" or disrespected. So disappointed that there are firms and people that work at these firms acting like this!
This law firm is a joke, I hired this firm because my lawyer told me she knew the owner when we met with him was free consultation I need to do change of venue he filed the whole case wrong, I asked him how much will it cost to do that my lawyer she was present (my family lawyer) he told me if he has to go to the court one time will only cost $2000 he took $5000 retainer from me he went to the court for two minutes and he lost the case, he took all my money never gave me nothing back he even charged me for the free consultation, and 10 months later he took another retainer from the people that I was suing they were part of the case that he did for me so technically the people that I was suing now he's them attorney defending them, I'm going to file complain with the state bar association
