I cannot say enough good things about Mike A. Prieto and the entire team at Prieto, DelCampo, Lopez, & Marigliano. Mike handled our elder abuse case against an assisted living company with professionalism, compassion, and relentless determination from start to finish.
This was an emotional and difficult situation for our family, but Mike took the time to listen, explain every step of the process, and fight aggressively on our behalf. His knowledge, preparation, and courtroom experience were obvious throughout the case, and his efforts resulted in a very large settlement that brought our family both justice and peace of mind.
What impressed me most was that Mike truly cared about doing the right thing for our loved one — not just winning the case. He was responsive, honest, and always made us feel like a priority.
If you are looking for an attorney who is compassionate, trustworthy, and exceptionally skilled in elder abuse and assisted living negligence cases, I highly recommend Mike A. Prieto and this law firm.
5 years ago my son and I experience a tremendous loss of our friend, father, and husband. The attorneys here has been with us every step of the way through the good and the emotional roller-coaster we were experiencing. The advice gain by them especially Dan has kept me going during these 5 years.
I would like to express my extreme appreciation to you all. I recommend anyone to contact this office. There is so much to say that words cannot express. They worked hard for my son and I and I wouldn't have done it any other way.
Thanks again
Five stars for getting back with me quickly but after that, nothing. The young lady I spoke with was supposed to send an email so I could provide more evidence but I have received nothing and she stated that an attorney would be contacting me. That was almost a week ago.
Mike and his firm accepted my mother’s case after two other firms failed to take meaningful action, with less than 48 hours remaining before the statute of limitations expired. Despite the urgency and challenges, the only promise Mike made was that he would do his very best.
The outcome exceeded anything we could have expected. The settlement my mother received was far greater than we ever imagined possible.
On behalf of my mother and myself, I would like to sincerely thank Mike and his entire team for their dedication, professionalism, and hard work. During an incredibly stressful time, they were truly a blessing, and we are deeply grateful for everything they did for our family.
From the very first day I sat down with Michael and Calanit, I knew I was in the right place. I walked in carrying grief, uncertainty, and fear—and they met me with patience, compassion, and genuine care. They didn’t rush me. They listened. They made space for my emotions while still guiding me with clarity and confidence.
Throughout my case, the entire PMP Law team treated me with dignity and respect. They explained every step, checked in often, and made sure I never felt alone during an incredibly difficult time in my life. When it came time for mediation, they did not play. They were prepared, focused, and unwavering in their advocacy for me. They stood firm, protected my interests, and fought for what was right.
Because of Michael, Calanit, and the PMP Law team, I felt supported, protected, and truly represented when I needed it most. Walking through this process was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I did it—and I know my husband would be proud of me. I am deeply grateful for their dedication, integrity, and heart. If you are looking for a law firm that truly cares—not just about the case, but about you—I wholeheartedly recommend PMP Law.

After being recommended here to talk over my case, they decided not to take it. My mom was at a nursing facility for 2 years and she fell out of her bed more than 3 times. She was unable to move and bedridden basically and she had no use of her muscles in her legs at all. It was strange to me how she kept on falling out of her bed. There were no rails and no safety measures in place. Thankfully, she was not seriously injured although she did have a wound on her hand and knee for
awhile. I had pictures of this and sent them to the attorney and they don’t think it’s negligence???
I guess only if she died would it be neglect? Unbelievable!!!
Mr Spoo was an excellent lawyer! He answered all my questions and made sure to keep me informed on what was happening with my case ! 10/10 would recommend this firm ! If u need someone to get the job done call them up ! Accurate dependable and just all together nice people ! Thanks for handling my case !
I highly recommend Mike and his firm .
After being turned down by several other firms. PMHP provided us with consistent communication and support . Mike and his firm got us a truly exceptional outcome for our case. The case was extremely difficult and emotional for me as it was for the wrongful death of my elderly mother while she was in the care of a nursing home. Mike is a kind competent attorney . He took the case and followed through until the case was resolved , with the best outcome . This gave me relief and hope . I will be forever grateful to him and his firm.
Had a stellar experience with Mike and Bryan of PMHP law firm. They took my husband's case of elder abuse in a nursing home during Covid and were honest, straightforward, efficient and compassionate. They did not overpromise results, but they certainly overdelivered. Everyone I dealt with at the law firm was professional and kind.
I am extremely grateful to Mike and Bryan for caring about my husband's case, after his treatment at the nursing home. They truly care about nursing home abuse and tenaciously seek justice.

I contacted PMHP Law after another lawyer turned down a wrongful death claim involving my mom while in the care of a nursing home. Following an initial meeting with attorneys Bryan, Bill and Mike, I immediately felt reassured. Mike led the case and he has my eternal gratitude for reaching a fair compensation on my behalf. They worked diligently to settle the matter in my favor and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I also want to thank Jaime for consistently being so helpful and courteous during our interactions. Overall, I am very satisfied with the services of the PMHP Law Firm.
"In the summer of 2015 my mother was killed by a nursing home while she was recovering from a brain infection. I originally went to a local attorney in the town where I lived but that attorney suggested I turn the case over to PMHP, LLC. Mike and Bill came to my town to see me and I signed on with their firm. For the remainder of the time I worked predominantly with Mike but other attorneys in the firm were working in the background. I didn't realize exactly all they had done until I received the final accounting of the settlement with a full accounting of their expenses. Although I really wanted to go to trial, as it neared the trial date, it became clear that due to some of the particulars of the case, it made more sense to settle out of court. I think we would have been awarded a larger settlement from a jury but being awarded and collecting are two different things. Although Mike always said that how we proceeded was up to me, he gave me the facts and guided me in the right direction for my case. I f you ever need an attorney for personal injury to represent you, I highly recommend PMHP LLC. "
