Ramon “Ray” Gonzalez was a phenomenal attorney. He was clear and honest about the case and made the matter extremely easy as a defendant. The office and his team were very kind and professional. Couldn’t be happier with my representation.
Owner response
Thank you Angel.

I called to inquire about potentially hiring this attorney for my parents, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Within the first minute of explaining the situation, I was repeatedly interrupted by the staff member I was transferred to. Her tone was dismissive and rude, as if I was inconveniencing her by calling.
First impressions matter, especially when seeking legal help for family. Based on this interaction alone, I chose not to move forward. The attorney should seriously address professionalism and client communication with their staff — they represent the firm!!
PS- Just read other one star reviews - Seems like I am not the only one that had the same experience. The attorney is definitely loosing clients due to his staff.

Do NOT trust Ramon Gonzalez Law Office in Union City.
They completely mishandled my personal injury case and caused me more harm than help. At my consultation, they acted confident and kind, telling me it was a clear-cut case and I wasn't at fault—supported by video and a police report. I trusted them. That was my biggest mistake.
This accident nearly killed both me and my 1-year-old son. I came to this office in a moment of fear, pain, and weakness, and instead of helping me, they made my nightmare even worse.
After that day, I never heard from my current lawyer again. I spent about a year in pain, begging weekly for updates, only to receive generic replies from an assistant named “Kuki.” My therapy office couldn't get a response from them either and went months unpaid—eventually I had to stop treatment entirely.
The at-fault party (who didn't even have a lawyer) was paid by insurance while I was left suffering and ignored. When I finally switched to a new lawyer, he was speechless hearing what I'd been through—his jaw literally dropped.
This office is negligent, unprofessional, and should not be trusted with anyone's case. And honestly, after everything I went through, I personally do not trust the high star rating they have online—my experience was the complete opposite. Please don't rely on those reviews. Go somewhere else.
I truly thank God I found a new legal team who actually cares about me and my case. The difference is night and day, and I wish I had gone to them from the start instead of dealing with a lawyer like this.

They handled my personal injury case in the worst way possible and caused me more harm than help. At the consultation, they were friendly and confident, telling me it was a simple case and that I wasn't at fault—with video and police report as proof. I believed them. That was my biggest mistake.

I thank God I found a new legal team that truly cares about me and my case. The difference is enormous, and I wish I had chosen them from the start instead of going through something so awful with this lawyer.

I would like the opportunity to accurately respond to your review and likewise maintain attorney's ethical obligations. An attorney's duty to keep client confidence has few exceptions and in an abundance of caution I do not feel at liberty to respond in a point-by-point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that I do not believe that the post presents a fair and accurate picture of the events. I could accurately respond in this online forum if you sign a consent.

Owner response
Thank you Randy. It was a pleasure to meet you and I'm glad my advise was helpful.
whoever answers the phone needs to do training all over not helpful at all, and didn’t even give me a chance to make a consultation with attorney because I walked in, I had to look for a different law office, the staff is very unprofessional.
I when to visit Ramon for representation on a case & he immediately passed a conflict of judgment on me from the start! Poor character in a male figure! He also tried to make my case as if it wasn’t worth it but if the tables was turned he most definitely wouldn’t look at it that way!
Whoever answers the phone needs to training all over not helpful at all actually made me just hang up & look for a different law office place is very unprofessional
