If you’re an injured worker in Washington State and feel like the system is against you, this is the person you want standing beside you. L&I claim managers don't return calls. Doctor's office is tired of you calling because they can't get the authorization for you and they have better things to do. You don't know if L&I will be sending your next check or if they'll send you to an IME to close your claim. It's so messy and stressful. Tara and her staff have seen it all before. They don't just handle paperwork. They fight for medical care, payments, employment and every benefit.

Thank you Erika! This means a lot to us!

Run far away from these lawyers!! They will treat you with absolute disrespect, will do nothing for your case, then blame you for it. Then to add icing on the cake, AFTER they drop you they will then stalk your social media profiles
I'd post the screenshots here if I could!
Dropped February 19th, viewed my LinkedIn February 26th! That is straight out creepy!! Do yourself a MASSIVE favor and find someone else.
And before she tries to do crowd control like she always does, my wife did have consent EVEN THOUGH I tried to tell you multiple times while you talked over me, you were so loud I genuinely tried to slip that in because my wife could hear you involuntary.
You clearly have the same problem over and over because the same issues I had with you is stated in multiple reviews.
You also clearly aren't paying attention to what your employees are doing because you have plenty of time to watch and respond to poor reviews!
I can’t recommend this workers’ compensation attorney enough. From the very beginning, they made what felt like an overwhelming and stressful situation so much easier to navigate. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions quickly, and made sure I felt supported the entire time.
Owner response
Thank you Corrina for the nice words. It's been a pleasure working with you!

Edit: well, with how loud you were yelling at my husband over the phone it wasn’t that hard to overhear you guys and no, you do not deserve the apology. You did nothing for his claim you damaged it. Say all you want about me damaging your reputation but the way you treated my husband was sickening. That is not how a lawyer treats people you were so disrespectful. I could hear you yelling at him over the phone. And once again, what lawyer uses the word salty in a conversation are you in high school grow up and act like the adult you’re supposed to be. I’m glad you let him go because at least I found a lawyer that gives a crap about his case and isn’t just there for money unlike you. Once again, not hard to overhear when you’re yelling at a person over the phone and accusing them of being a liar.
Terra Reck is the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever worked with, she was EXTREMELY rude to my husband, the way she spoke to him literally left my jaw dropping. Accusing him of not listening to her paralegal Terry. Terry never informed us the issues with Multi care, and Fransican, how they kill Workers Comp cases (funny my Franciscan doctor was great.) she refused to listen to my husband about his issues with terry saying, She’s worked with him for six years and there is no way he would mess up. She stands behind her employees great but why is she accusing my husband of being a liar? All around BAD attorney. Do not recommend. Will be reporting her and her office to the bar for her attitude and her treatment towards clients. She also protected Terry by trying to throw Madeline under the bus saying she worked with him too, but TERRY can’t do anything wrong.. Seriously look else where this lady is so rude. Also want to state she would prefer my husband stay with a doctor who prescribed him medication that would have put him in Serotonin Syndrome , also his doctor signed off on a therapy he my husband wasn’t ready for because the doctor admitted to not paying attention. She only works your case to get a check. She gives no legal advice whatsoever and will scream at you when you can’t read their minds and do what they want. Also what lawyer used the word Salty in a conversation with a client? So unprofessional. There is a difference being blunt and just being straight up rude and she was just straight up rude.

Thank you for posting this same review everywhere on the internet (Google, Yelp, FindLaw, etc). We make every effort to provide individuals with clear and concise information intended to enable them to make wise decisions for themselves to achieve the best outcome for their workers compensation or LNI claim. We strive to help clients in need that are willing to follow our advice. That's what people hire us for. We are unable to help people who are not willing to follow our recommendations. When communication becomes unproductive or expectations are misaligned with legal realities, we sometimes have to withdraw as appropriate under applicable ethical rules. In addition, we maintain a firm commitment to ensuring that our attorneys and staff are always treated with courtesy and respect. When interactions fall short of that standard, we take appropriate steps to protect the integrity of our team and our practice. We wish you best of luck with your claim and future endeavors.
All they did was close most of my appeals, and take the lions share of the compensation they did get.
Owner response
Tara- We have not been representing you for over 17 months now. As we explain to all our clients - when we work with clients, we expect them to follow steps we recommend. That's why you hire us. When clients decide to go on their own and against our advice, there is no way for us to help them. We are unable to help clients who are not willing to help themselves by not following simple instructions that our experienced staff asks them to perform in order to achieve the best possible outcome in their claim. Regarding fees - this is false. We were paid a contingency fee that was a small fraction of the benefits we secured on your behalf. It sounds like the steps you took on your own had some bad results, as we tried to explain to you time and time again.
I want to thank Tara and Terry and the staff at Reck Law for all their hard work. When I first talked to Tara, she told me that people call her a bulldog and I get why. She is relentless and didn’t stop fighting. All I can say is thank you for taking care of everything and handling my claim the way you did!

Thank you Rebekah. We appreciate your feedback!

As we communicated from the beginning, your self-insured claim is contentious and difficult. We worked very hard to get your lni claim back on track and securing benefits, which we did, and advising you as best we could. Unfortunately, your behavior towards our staff and medical providers resulted in our inability to continue as your representatives. While disappointed in this chain of events, we genuinely wish you an optimal outcome to your L&I claim.
I met Ms. Reck approximately 8 months ago. She is a highly experienced workers compensation attorney, and so are all other attorneys in their office, and her staff is legit and on top of things. My interactions with her to date have been good and I'd recommend her for people dealing with work injury or L&I claim matters. If you're working as a loader, on a forklift, in trucking, a construction worker, truck driver, a nurse, fire fighter, police officer, or anything else like logging or whatever else - they work on all sort of cases and they can really help.
Owner response
Thank you Chris. I hope you and the Ms. are doing well. Thank you for the kind words.

There are so many ways for an L&I claim to go wrong. It's all fun and games until it's not. Thankful for this law firm for helping folks getting medical help and financial benefits after a work injury or a work accident. Life can be unfair but I'm thankful that these guys are here to help.
As a nurse, I want to recommend this law firm. They work very hard to make sure that people get the medical treatment they need following a work injury. The really know how to navigate every L&I claim and help their clients both from the financial and the medical side of things.
