I was looking forward to consulting with Mr. Shapiro regarding my father's assets, will, and maybe the creation of a potential trust as his Power of Attorney since he's recently been placed in Hospice/memory care. Mr. Shapiro has great reviews here and I felt this would be a good place to start. Unfortunately, the young lady who answered the call stated she wasn't sure that the attorney would want to speak with me since my father's POA was created by an attorney out of state years ago. I explained that my father is a current resident of Florida, as am I, and I was looking to consult with an attorney to ensure my father's assets were protected and to see what, if anything, I would need to do as his POA. I've never dealt with anything like this and need guidance. She stated that she'd need to talk with the attorney to see if he'd even want to meet with me. I'll be calling other attorneys in the area to see if they can help our family.

Phil and Ashleigh were amazing. If you want the best representation, it's them and their firm. They answered every phone call and email I ever had. Morning, day or night. Answered every question. We had an excellent experience having Matthew Shapiro prepare various estate planning documents. It was a somewhat complex estate plan that included provisions for heirs living abroad. Mr. Phil Bonamo is an outstanding and practical, no nonsense defense attorney. He and his staff were very knowledgeable of the law, quick to respond, and strong advocates for our son. Since I am also a lawyer who has practiced for over 60 years, I know when an advocate is knowledgeable, prepared, practical, and dedicated. Mr. Bonamo is all of those things. Disappointed with Crock. Stated took a bunch of her time writing up documents but didn’t even file. Spent 5,500 on her and got told 12 hours of her time was for my papers which took majority of my money. Didn’t appear /file or do anything in court for me then tried asking for another 3k. As a single mother that struggles financially she didn’t give patience when trying to come up with more money to pay her instead and just decided to drop me as a client. Not happy about my outcome and do not recommend a lawyer like that. All they want is your money ! Still had money in my pot for remaining and pretty much pocket it and demanded me to drop her as an attorney. Waste of money for this firm. I do not recommend.
