Completed an intake form the week prior. Called to follow up. Receptionist alleged the form was never received by their team, and they charge $250 for an initial consultation at the time of scheduling. She had me on the phone and wanted to schedule the consultation before confirming my information. The intake form took 45 minutes to complete; now it is in the wind. Would not recommend; was initially drawn to the firm by the diversity and decent rating. Disappointing experience.

The following is an honest and accurate review of my recent experience with this firm. To start, I paid $250 for a consultation that felt more like a sales pitch than actual legal advice. Before I could fully explain the facts of my case, the attorney was already ready to take it, provided I paid another $5,000 retainer for four months of representation. The plan was essentially to send a demand letter asking for 2 years worth of salary and hope the company paid within that time. If they did not, I would still be out $5,000. That did not strike me as a careful or reassuring strategy, especially given how little time was spent truly examining the facts. What bothered me most was how rushed the entire conversation felt. I barely had the details out of my mouth before they were prepared to move forward. It did not feel thorough. It did not feel thoughtful. It felt transactional. I regret spending the $250 and, if I could get that money back, I would. I later spoke with another attorney who charged only $20 for a consultation and was far more thorough, careful, and helpful. The difference was obvious. KEEP LOOKING!
