Michael did an excellent job with resolving a home insurance claim denial. It was supposed to be a simple and straightforward claim for a burst pipe, but the insurance company took months to process it before a full denial. This happened after we had been out of our house for months, and after many hours spent talking to the multiple adjusters and agents who repeatedly assured us that we were in good hands. Nope. Do not believe the ads. We were told it was a waste of time and money to fight the company -- especially by the local agent (who claims to fight on your side) who said it was an open and shut case for a denial after his 20 years of experience. But Michael took the time to listen to our grievances and gave us precise instructions about how to file a complaint with the state insurance commission. He carefully read our policy and found language that demonstrated where the insurance company was wrong. Michael filed a formal complaint with the company and dealt with the insurance company's lawyers. We were finally able to settle with the company. We are grateful for Michael's help. We turned to him on a whim, to simply ask for advice when we felt hopeless, frustrated, and angry. We are glad we did. We highly recommend him. He is competent and professional. It's definitely worth your time to talk to him because he will take the time to help you, no matter how small the grievance.

Absolutely phenomenal attorney. Our insurance company's position turned 180 degrees when Michael Ruppersburg got involved. The insurance company, after dragging their feet for nearly two months, had determined that they will not pay anything because our damages did not fall under coverage. After trying many, many times to talk to the adjusters, local insurance contact person, etc. ourselves and getting stonewalled, I called the Ruppersburg office and Michael offered to look over our insurance policy. He found that actually the insurance had miscategorized our case and our damages were in fact covered. He got in contact with the insurance company and soon after, we got the first offer of settlement! We thought of taking this offer since we had become exhausted with the process, but Michael urged us to take fuller account of the expenses we had incurred from the damages and very patiently worked with us to gather necessary documentation. He pushed the insurance again to account for those, and got us an even better second offer. Throughout the whole process, we found Michael to be tenacious, patient, upfront, and accessible, all the things you'd want in an attorney. So glad to work with him, would recommend him to anyone I know.
