Very bad lawyer. Terrible service, money wasted. If you want to give away money, hire her, but it was a bad decision.

I consulted this lawyer to process my change of status through my child citizenship and she told me that I didn't qualify even though I entered the USA with a visa. Then I consulted another well-known and prestigious lawyer from Los Angeles and he told me that I did qualify and that he could get me residency in four months. I started my process with him and just as he said, in three and a half months I received my green card.

If we could give zero stars we would. Run as fast as you can and find yourself an attorney that is actually respectful and responsive. Mrs. Rosa Elena Sahagun lacks integrity, and she should be ashamed for treating her own people with little respect. She advertises herself as the "people's" attorney. Marketing and advertising to vulnerable communities. She expresses on her Facebook pages and all media platforms to call her to "help" you and your loved ones. We paid her a total of $5000 initially in June 2025, and another $7500 August 2025. We should have known better. After giving her the first payment, she would not respond to my calls or messages when I simply needed updates on my husband's case while he was detained by ice. We finally sent an email, demanding communication. She took our call then. She was not happy to take our call, she almost seemed bothered and annoyed that we needed to talk with her. We are an honest hard working family, we landscape for a living, and it took us a VERY long time to earn those wages. It is a very vulnerable time in our lives as we have children that need their father. You would think that in these moments the professionals would have an ounce of a sensitivity chip towards what we are living. Nope. Not this attorney, even if she speaks your language, she still talks down to you, is dismissive, and she won't let you get a word in! Para todos los que lean esto, corranle y contraten a otro abogado menos a esta señora. Van a quedar endeudados y sin resultados.

The lawyer Rosa Elena helped my brother in his fight against an illegal detainment of my brother. Our family greatly appreciates how professional, personal and empathetic she was throughout this experience. She made time to answer all our questions when they would come up. She also has helped 2 of my cousins in the past which influenced our decision to take choose her again. Immigration cases are never easy but this lawyer had lifted a great weight off our shoulders. To that we are very fortunate to have crossed paths with her services.

We highly recommend attorney Rosa Elena. We chose her when she called us in for an emergency on a Sunday. We saw that throughout her career she has dedicated herself to helping our Latino community on all her social media platforms. She always spoke to us directly, without making promises she couldn't keep, and yet she helped us get our brother out of detention. We are very grateful and admire her efforts.

We have been with Rosa Elena since 2018 and we can’t be more grateful for what she and her staff have done. She guided us in every step of the way. She is truly passionate for what she does. Whether it’s criminal or immigration she is there for you. We highly recommend her as your attorney.

Very bad experience. We'd already been told it wasn't good, but we decided to trust them. They charged us from the start for not explaining the process properly, only to tell us after several months of paying them that we didn't qualify. They hadn't even reviewed our case. In the end, they charged us $1,000 for doing nothing.

Highly recommended. Excellent service, very clear from the start, and ongoing support. Excellent guidance and advice. They always returned my calls, and the attention from the front desk, the assistants, and especially the lawyer was excellent.
