Only had a consultation with Brandon Djonlich so far. I was called on the time scheduled and Brandon and I spent most of a half an hour or more in an informative chat. There was ample time in the sell but in-between the information exchanged was engaging and I learned a few things about my plan to file a petition for grandparent visitation pro se. Brandon strongly recommended against going pro se and gave me the firm's retainer and hourly fees to consider. I tried to pin down an upper limit on what I might expect in total costs (this is not a divorce case and I had already accomplished considerable documentation on my own). I would have appreciated a bit more interest in the helping me with a case then for them to start from scratch (at a lower up-front cost) but didn't get that. I have read that some law firms will assist in the process). I would have preferred to sit down with someone like Brandon and have cursory review what work had already been done since as I related to him was substantial. I will consider this firm but am still in the review process.

We understand that no one enjoys receiving a bill, but just like any professional, attorneys deserve to be compensated for their work. Imagine going to your job every day, putting in your time and effort, and expecting to be paid. But when payday comes, your employer tells you, "We'll get to it soon." You might trust them the first time, assuming it was just a mistake. But by the third pay period, after still not receiving what you're owed, would you continue showing up? I’ve worked with attorneys Susan A. Marks and Brandon Djonlich over the years, and they’ve been fantastic. They listen and offer solid objective advice, making sure I know what’s going on every step of the way. It’s been so easy to trust them with everything once we set our game plan. They’re also very reliable with court dates, which might seem small, but when you see other attorneys showing up late or missing in Zoom meetings, it makes a big difference. Also, I want to acknowledge everyone in the office—Larry, Maraya, Kristin and previously Bertha and Laura who have all been great. Thanks everyone! I had a very difficult divorce case when I presented to Susan two and a half years ago. My husband was unfortunately having severe struggles with addiction that were affecting the safety and financial health of me and my two young children. During the divorce process, two episodes led me to file an emergency order of protection against my husband. Susan was there for me through an incredibly stressful and scary time. She worked to have had a guardian ad litem and other safety measures in place to protect my children and I from harm. My husband unfortunately passed away during the divorce proceedings due to his struggles with addiction. Susan walked me through one of the hardest times in my life. I needed to open a probate estate and manage my late husband’s debts and assets. I ran into multiple challenges with family members wanting inheritance funds that were to go to my children, and Susan stepped in and assisted with managing legal agreements. Two and a half years later, my children and I are still healing, but are in such a better place now. I tell my friend about Susan and her team and how I couldn’t have gotten through these last few years without them. Susan went above and beyond to fight for my and my children’s safety and well-being. Susan and Brandon are my biggest advocates, and am forever grateful for them.

Thought it was comical when I received an email from this law office that I worked with a few years ago! I do not recommend them to anyone. They with charge you one price and then prolong ur case to ask you for more money. They stole so much money from my for such an easy case that I could have done pro se! And to top it all off they ask you to leave a review with this one site and then it says they have to approve ur review before they post it. Well now I know y they had only good reviews. On that site. It’s because they r the ones not posting anything but good reviews. PLEASE SAVE UR MONEY AND RUN!!!
