I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jeff Hubins of Schauman & Hubins. In my experience, I paid close to $5,000 before even having a signed contract, based on assurances that multiple matters would be handled. Unfortunately, none of the issues I raised were resolved in a meaningful or timely way. Communication was consistently slow, and follow-through was poor. Taking my money and sending invoice was fast! On one occasion, Mr. Hubins promised to call me at a specific time, then did not call — and later stated he could not find my phone number, which I found very unprofessional given that we had already communicated and payment had been made. Overall, I felt overcharged, unsupported, and misled about what would actually be handled. Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend this attorney. I regret the time and money spent and would advise others to be very cautious and to get everything clearly documented in writing before proceeding. I don’t recommend you hire this attorney at all.
