Facing life in prison for four horrific crimes that had been manufactured in connection with a divorce and custody dispute over three children, my life was nearly destroyed. My false accusers had played the Alabama Justice system to perfection, setting up a scenario where I became presumed guilty having to prove my innocence. After having been arrested by a group of Agents from the U.S Marshall service, armed like paramilitary soldiers, and taken to one of the most violent Jails in Alabama, clearing my name became a matter of life and death. The legal experts I contacted thereafter told me that any chances of successfully defending against these allegations were almost non existent. But by the Providence of God I finally came into contact with Mr. Wendell Sheffield and Mr. Anthony Bowling at the Sheffield and Lentine Law firm in Birmingham. Without fear and with incredible skill, they worked tirelessly to put together a defense so detailed, so powerful, and so revealing, that on the very first day of trial, the Prosecutor for the State of Alabama asked the Judge for a 90 day continuance to review all of the evidence that our side had presented in preparation for Trial, including over 825 exhibits. I was just informed yesterday that as a result of that review, the State of Alabama has dropped all charges against me!! After a five year long nightmare, I am finally free!! Our defense proved so powerful that the Prosecutor was forced to capitulate instead of bringing her case before a Jury! A brutal legal battle has ended in Victory and I could never adequately thank these two men: Mr. Wendell Sheffield and Mr. Anthony Bowling! How they fought for me!! May the Lord God Bless them always for their courage, their dedication, their honesty, and for the absolutely superb work that they did to clear my name!
