Great law group. No one wants to need a lawyer, but if you do, these guys are pros. They know OC/LB law inside and out, and went the extra mile for me when others wouldn't. Everyone was professional and extremely easy to communicate with. Neeraj especially was a highlight. They are a little (very little) more expensive than some others, but you get what you pay for and I feel that, for the 5% I paid than the other quotes I got, it more than paid off. They explored every angle of my situation and advised me perfectly. They are also up to date with technology, which is such a relief. No fax machines here (unless you want to.)

I was connected to Jenn Bartick at Shouse Law Group through a recommendation from a close friend who lives out of state, but had heard of Jenn’s work. I was very pleased with the professionalism of this law firm and my overall experience. My worse nightmare came to life when I became a victim of police abuse of power. Everything seemed hopeless from the misrepresented Police Report to the lack of response from Police Department and finally the skewed Judicial System weighing the evidence from the marred case presented. It felt impossible to have the truth be heard, “I am Innocent”, among the deceitful crowd I was now being shuffled among. It was like a movie, the dirty cops, the crooked internal affairs and the one attorney who fights for the truth. Except, this wasn't a movie, it was my life. I hired Al within my first consultation. Although I had called and spoken to other lawyers, his calmness and collectiveness made me feel for the first time, someone is listening. He didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, he told me the way it was. His years as a Prosecutor gave me insightful understanding to how the DA views my case and how we can prepare our defense. Al had extensive knowledge of my court district and the judges as well as the prosecutors. He came highly recommended and as Neil said, “If Al can’t do it, it can’t be done”. He always had my well being in mind first and foremost. Even when I felt low he was there to pick me up, not as a lawyer, but as a friend, and told me to hang in there; there’s still a win for me. It was a tough fight. Al fought for me against the Long Beach Police Department, Long Beach Internal Affairs and Long Beach District Attorney’s office. Even when ever Motion and Order was not heard, Al never faltered or staggered in my defense, instead, he dug his heels in deeper. He fought for justice and my truth to be heard. It was his years of experience, skills and abilities that opened the communication barrier to the Prosecutors to show, I was Entrapped and Innocent of any charges. He fought the Good Fight and that is why my case was DISMISSED. Not even an infraction, not a fine, not anything. I won, and I owe it all to Al! His perseverance and efforts allowed my innocence to be heard and a case that otherwise would have be pleaded to, was a DISMISSAL due to the effective execution of this phenomenal lawyer Al F. Amer.
