I hired Joshua Silverman for my divorce case last April and paid around $6,500 upfront, expecting competent legal representation. Instead, I received absolutely nothing in return. I am a single mom on a teacher’s salary, and this was a huge financial sacrifice for me. I felt I had everything on my end (financials, parenting course, papers signed) done within two weeks of hiring him, yet he never even got the papers served to the defendant. He ignored my calls and emails, rarely provided updates, and did nothing to move my case forward. Eventually, the court filed a motion to drop the case I believe due to his inaction.
