After speaking with three other attorneys, Stewart A. McMillan was the only one who actually took the time to talk with me and hear me out. He was kind, non-judgmental, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I was dealing with a stressful situation and he made me feel much more comfortable. I really appreciated that he treated me with respect and gave me honest information. I would definitely recommend him.

Doesn’t deserve any stars, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This man was hired by my partner, he had to appear the next day, we worked very hard to write a statement regarding what happened so that he could be prepared at the initial hearing, Stu never showed and sent a proxy who was late and didn’t read the statement so he had no idea what was going on. The second hearing the same thing happened, the proxy a man named Luis showed up and was not prepared and wasn’t able to negotiate with the DA. The Third time comes around and still the same, and this is a first time offense with a man who has never even had a speeding ticket. We were then told we would have to go to trial. I attempted to speak to Stu to get an update and trying to figure out what else we could do and he was very condescending and spoke over me. Thankfully I found a friend of a friend who also does criminal defense and we switched attorneys. It cost us another retainer but she was well worth it, and made sure to get on our case as soon as she took it. She attempted to contact Stu several times to let him know she would be taking over, and his office never responded, he finally shows up (of course after he realizes he’s been replaced and took money and did absolutely nothing to work for our case) and had the audacity to text us after saying “if we needed anything from him to give him a call” This lawyer is a scam and should not be practicing. He has no regard for his clients and their families. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT waste your money or time.

He is a horrible lawyer I don’t not recommend him to anyone. He’s allegedly been working my no fault car accident for 2 years. He does not pick up anytime I call or text, he responds days later and always has an excuse of him being in court working on someone else’s case he always says he going to call back and send email to update none of that had been done he’s really messed up, I don’t see how anyone could let this guy work on their case

Stew is a lifesaver! My other lawyer ditched me and he agreed to help me with my personal injury in the 11th hour when no one else would. Not once have I had to deal with anyone other because Stew treats you with respect!

Steward is an amazing lawyer, always checking on my case, makes me feel important. I’m not worried for my case when I have Stewart on my side.

It’s really unfortunate that I have to even give this man one star. I was in a predicament due to a stalker situation (long story short), which I inevitably had to retain this mans services. His prices were outlandish for the work he did, which as far as I saw was absolutely NOTHING. He accepted some emails I had sent to give him background information and evidence to my the situation I was in. Great. He didn’t do anything with it. He rescheduled court dates and didn’t inform me, so I would miss work, go to court and after HOURS OF CALLING HIM LATER... he would send a text that he rescheduled. I couldn’t get him to answer my calls, I literally had to call his FATHER (who is in charge of the practice, and a friend of my family’s) to finally get him to call. He would play on phone during court dates. Send other lawyers instead of showing up himself. These other lawyers WERE NOT INFORMED On my case... and resulted in an attempt at victim shaming me. He constantly called me “young lady” (I’m in my 30’s) and it came off as condescending and disrespectful. Literally a month before my last court date to finally rid myself of that guy, he walked into the salon I work in, to get a color gloss for his hair (during work week hours, so he was doing this on someone else’s time) and DID NOT RECOGNIZE ME WHEN HE ASKED ME TO WIPE THE COLOR OFF HIS PHONE! He didn’t answer any of my calls and nor did he show up to the final court date. All of this cost me more than 2 months worth of pay. Save your money and go with a court appointed lawyer. They are overworked and probably under paid, but they will work harder for you. For sure.
