If you are a defendant dealing with this firm, retain counsel. Also contact the Ventura County Self-Help Legal Access Center for free assistance. In my experience, the firm was unwilling to work toward a cooperative resolution to avoid eviction, even when brief additional time would have solved the issue. Verbal commitments were unreliable; unless terms were in writing, they were not honored. We were given a move-out timeframe, requested a short (1–2 hour) extension, and were refused. We later learned the firm filed the eviction electronically at around midnight—earlier than the date and time we understood to be agreed. The firm declined to prepare routine forms that could have facilitated an agreed outcome, instead directing us to file at our own expense (approximately $100–$200 per person). The Self-Help Center indicated the attorney could have prepared the same paperwork. We explained we lacked funds for filing fees and were willing to vacate by a reasonable time, but the firm would not cooperate—even though the client’s stated goal was simply for us to leave the apartment.

Sent me a cease and desist letter trying to scare me saying that my reviews were illegal and defamatory As well as having false information in the letter. As a law firm, you would expect them to do the proper research before they would do such a thing.

Jeff is the best lawyer I've come across. He's a great communicator and handles business. When he says something he means it and doesn't blow smoke up your rear. Great at analyzing, hard working, and organized. Will put in the work on a case to understand it front to back and is keen to details. Highly recommended.
