I would like to share my experience using the lease review service. 1. Disregard for their own rules and excessive charges: The law firm's initial notice included a clear rule stating that "additional work will be handled after consultation." Nevertheless, when I sought advice on six specific items, they unilaterally re-examined the entire lease without any prior consultation and charged an additional fee of approximately $1,114. 2. Change in attitude before and after presentation of evidence: Even though I raised an objection, the law firm continued to demand full payment. However, only after I presented a screenshot of the regulations from the initial notice email as evidence did they finally adjust the fee to $300, citing "miscommunication" as an excuse instead of admitting their fault. It is deeply disappointing that they ignored their own rules until I showed them the evidence. 3. Shifting blame and lack of apology: The most unpleasant aspect was their attitude of shifting responsibility, acting as if the cause of the costs lay with the client, without offering a single proper apology until the very end. I was deeply hurt by their eagerness to collect fees rather than their sense of responsibility as professionals. 4. Conclusion: The reason I am leaving this review, despite having received a fee adjustment, is to inform you that any client who does not meticulously gather evidence can become the target of unfair billing. Only then did they adjust the final fee to $300, hiding behind the vague term "miscommunication" instead of acknowledging their procedural breach. It is appalling that a law firm ignores its own rules until confronted with proof. 3. Blaming the Client & Lack of Apology: The most distressing part was their refusal to offer a sincere apology. Instead, they spoke as if the unauthorized work was my responsibility. Their arrogance and lack of professional accountability were deeply offensive. 4. Conclusion: I am sharing this to warn others: always keep records of every communication with this firm. Without hard evidence, you may be subject to unauthorized and excessive billing.
