Using the Advocates was the best decision for us! We actually were with a different law firm before switching. When I was in a car wreck, it took 2 years to be done with the lawsuit. The advocates got more done in 4 months than the other law office did in 20 months. Communication was really important to us and the Advocates greatly succeeded our expectations. They kept us up to date and informed on everything. Besides having a client relationship, we have made a personal friendship with Dave and his team. Give The Advocates a try, you will not be disappointed
They got back to me pretty quick. Seems to be on things. Mia was great help.now I'm not so worried about things. Fingers crossed things go in our favor seems promising.
The Advocates were amazing during my time of need. They kept me informed every step of the way, answered all of my questions no matter how small, and made the whole process much less stressful. I truly appreciate their professionalism and support and would highly recommend them to anyone needing legal help.
They’ve been extremely helpful and kind throughout my entire experience with them. I highly recommend their service. I’m grateful for each one of the employees who’ve helped and supported me during my journey.
After being involved in a car accident with my daughter—where we were not at fault and our vehicle was totaled—I was initially hesitant to hire an attorney. After some consideration, I decided to contact The Advocates, and I’m very glad I did.
Mark Stewart and his team handled everything from start to finish with professionalism and care. They coordinated our medical treatment and made the entire process smooth and stress-free during a difficult time.
Because of their efforts, we received the care we needed and fair compensation. I highly recommend Mark Stewart and the team at The Advocates for their dedication and support. They even went the extra mile with thoughtful birthday gift cards for both my daughter and me.
The communication by this firm was sub par. I received more information contacting other lawyers then I did from the advocates.
I was told that they would take care of everything and that may be true if the 33.33% that they take is going to be a large amount but if you are dealing with someone who has awful insurance they won't advocate much for you.
The other driver was deemed 60% at fault. I have no idea why 60% was chosen. This fact has never been explained to me. I'm assuming after 51% they don't really advocate for you anymore. I was told that they don't provide help with property damage and won't help you with that at all. They told me they can't get the information on towed property location from the police department. The police department said they give it to lawyers frequently. I found that very curious. Im assuming it's not enough money for them to care and that's why they didn't want to make a phone call?
There was no discussion of options, or explanations of what was happening after they found out the insurance was capped at a small amount. I just got a call one day saying here is how much the insurance is going to pay. Sign the document and then we will negotiate to get you a portion of that money. That seemed weird to me. They want me to sign a document that I accept the amount and then they would go negotiate to get me a portion of it. I told them to forget it, if they weren't going to take care of the property damage. The tiny amount of money was meaningless. About 5 or six months later I received a breakdown of their negotiations and the amount I was told I would get has now gone down. That doesn't really seem to track
I would have prefered to go after the other party for damages but that wasn't an option according to the advocates and only months after the initial insurance offer was I told that they had even looked into the other driver at all and explained why it wasn't worth it. Did I mention that the communication was awful?
I would have forgone having this kind of representation, and would have made a few phone calls over giving away 33.33% of my tiny settlement and just done it on my own. At a minimum you should call a few other lawyers.
It's been about seven months and I'm just getting the property damage taken care of with no help from the 'advocates'. The insurance offer for the injury portion was made 2 months after the accident, once that was made they stopped caring, maybe I'll care to sign their paperwork after I get the property damage taken care of. Maybe in another seven months.
Now it's mostly all taken care of, they reduced their fee, I think that's appropriate since I could have advocated for myself much better than they did. I changed this review from one star to three. I would not use this law firm ever again. They wanted me to change my review and held the check longer than they needed to in an attempt to get me to change it. I changed my review because they truly are a three star law firm. They may be better if more money is in it for them, otherwise they just don't seem to care. Be careful what company you choose to represent you.
This place has been on time with everything I have not had to wait for someone to get a hold of me for answers to my claim, I have been back to back with calls for every situation that is needed information from me. I have really high hopes for this advocates to help get the help I need. This place is amazing barely started helping me and they have been so fast in the process.
10/10 experience! This was my first time ever using an attorney. Steve Linton and Julie did an amazing job! I really didn't know much about what I was doing when I started the process for a dog bite. He always explained to me everything I needed to know! The process was a bit long but the best results take time so it was okay and gave me the best outcome !! If I ever need an attorney again, I'll use the advocates !(:
I was involved in an auto accident and Hanna Strege with The Advocates Intake Department made the process during this stressful time very easy. She was very pleasant, guided me through the intake document, and answered all my questions related to filling out the form. I think she is a great asset to the Advocates team. Being the first contact for your firm, it just made me feel like I am in good hands and that's a good start to the process during a difficult time. Thank you!
