Oh he’s a great lawyer. Great at collecting checks and not doing his job! Actually he is THE WORST defense attorney I’ve ever encountered! Each time we walked into the court room he Never even ettempted to defend me as a paying client. The District attorney blatantly lying to the judges face. Blaming me for assault on a ridiculous power hungry police officer. Frankly now looking back at what took place when he was employed to “defend” Me. I feel like I was Robbed! This lawyer charged me just over 9000 dollars not only to allow the DA say every lie he could think of in the courtroom but never once did he do what he was paid to do and that was to protect and defend me in a court of law as his client. I didn’t pay to get another lawyer because at that point it was already far too expensive to be able to process a motion to substitute. I had to resort to defending myself in front of the judge by pointing out that the supposed incriminating evidence they had against me was in fact not really any evidence at all of this uncontrollable dim witted power trip embarking cop being attacked by me. All while Santiago tried to tell me to be quiet and shut my mouth. That case may have never gotten dismissed or worse yet. I may have gotten thrown in jail had I not decided to stand up for myself and speak up to the judge. All because this lawyer didn’t once perform what he was paid very handsomely to do. If youre considering employing this lawyer for any service please do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. You’ll be better served and actually defended. Not taken advantage of as in my case. I know I’m not the only person the good man Santiago Hernandez has done wrong. After years of his lame attempts at rescheduling the court date as if it was something to be taken lightly employing his played out traffic ticket tactic. Not only did he wait for the time frame to pass so that I was legally unable to counter sue the persecutor. But When the charges were finally dropped and they wanted me to plea down into something else I gave him one condition. I said “I want to see the squad car video camera footage of that night. If I can see it that’s the only way I’ll plea to something like that.” He didnt even try to get it for me. Not even an attempt to help me with that after. Considering that All on my own I had proven to the judge that I didnt assault that damn police officer. Santiago had the audacity to charge me yet another fee to get this case closed. If you’re considering his service I’ll give you the best advice I can give to someone else found in the shoes I was once standing in at that time. RUN!!!!!!
