I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and professionalism I received from Mr Lance During one of the most difficult times in my life, he stood by me with compassion, wisdom, and honesty. I used Mr. Kassab for a State Bar Hearing and paid him over $3800.00. He introduced himself then cited 2 violations and said nothing after that. It did not matter what the opposing Attorneys said. He did not refute it. He refused to take my case and referred me to a Mr. Ernster. Ernster wanted $3500.00 for a consult. I did not use Ernster. Before my Hearing started. Kassab agreed to switch my time slot delaying me till the afternoon. He charged me $400.00 an hour for each hour of the delay. Then he bailed on me after disasterous Hearing and would not help me with the Appeal to the State Bar.

Mr. Bennett, we are sorry you feel like you were not treated properly by our firm regarding a grievance hearing that occurred more than five years ago. As we informed you, we did not believe you had a viable legal malpractice case which is why we did not take your case. As we also informed you, in our experience, the Texas State Bar typically dismisses grievances against lawyers as summary dismissals. We also informed you that a grievance process is like a criminal prosecution, where the prosecutor handles the complaint, not the personal lawyer of the victim. At a grievance hearing, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel prosecutes the case for the complainant and handles the hearing for the complainant, not your personal lawyer. Therefore, we were not allowed to cross examine witnesses or do much of anything else at the actual hearing. We understand how frustrating it is when a client files a grievance against a lawyer and the State Bar does find clear violations of the Rules.

Highly recommend the Kassab firm. They communicated with us promptly and set clear expectations with us for the process. Their letters and mediation submissions were well written and accurate, indicating to us that they had invested the time to really know and understand our case and our complaints about our prior attorneys. I am out of state and I contacted Mr. David Kassab about filing a lawsuit. I cannot express how much it meant to me to have an attorney that during the whole process he would email or call me personally with any updates. If I needed to ask a question he personally answered my call or email. When it looked like the case was going to end up without any settlement through the court, Mr. Kassab didn’t give up and I did receive an out of court settlement that was much higher than I anticipated. Thank you!
