I HAVE BEEN A REAL ESTATE BROKER FOR 36 YEARS AND WOULD NOT RECOMEND DEBBIE MUNDENHALL AS A CLOSING AGENT. IT HAS BEEN 19 DAYS SINCE WE CLOSED OUR TRANSACTION WITH THE KRAFT LAW GROUP, AND WE STILL DON'T HAVE OUR COMMISSION. WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE, SHE GAVE AN EXCUSE OF THE CHECK WAS MAILED TWO DAYS AFTER THE CLOSING,AND MUST HAVE BEEN LOST. I KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE, BECAUSE LAST WEEK SHE TOLD MY AGENT THAT SHE HAD BEEN ON VACATION AND WAS JUST BEHIND AND WOULD WORK ON IT. THE LISTING BROKER HAS NOT BEEN PAID EITHER, SO I KNOW IT'S NOT THE POSTAL SERVICE. I GET IT, THINGS HAPPEN. JUST APOLOGIZING AND CLAIM RESPOSABILITY, INSTEAD OF BLAMING THE POST OFFICE.
Escrow dept is very poor at communication. Lost in the sauce on all aspects of our transaction. No updates, doesnt respond to emails. When you call, very rude on the phone as though we are inconveniencing them on wanting an update. Seemed like there was no organization, no idea what was happening on our file. Will never use again.
Shannon was incredibly helpful at guiding our growing family through the estate planning process. She helped us understand what was important while not getting too “into the weeds” of the law. She made sure that we developed a personal plan based on the needs of our family.
Highly recommend!
Kraft Law Group came recommended to us by a colleague who used them often for manufactured home sales. Kraft comes in more affordable than a title/escrow office. However, when a company does not do things timely or without being reminded multiple times, they end up costing the client significantly more money when deadlines are delayed. The escrow officer did not have several items completed that would allow us to close on time and stated it was due to her being “out of the office for several days” and not “having her hands in hr file”. Unacceptable. Real estate transactions have deadlines and real people who rely on timeliness so that movers aren’t rescheduled and hotel stays extended due to failure to close. Additionally, we had to provide details 3-4 times on multiple occasions before something would be noted in the file. Seller proceeds were not delivered the following day after close, which is expected. I could go on. The only reason I did not give a 1 star is because the lawyers assistant was professional each time we spoke on the phone. I highly recommend using a different escrow office to complete a real estate transaction.
Used Kraft Law for a mortgage loan and got as far as putting down a large amount of earnest money. They then decided to double my down payment due to comps, which is fine. They forced me out of a deal, and although the contingencies of the contract regarding earnest money was clear that I was to receive all of the EM back, they strong armed me into accepting half. They literally stole thousands of dollars from me, and then sent me a thank you e-mail. The thank you e-mail is not a joke, I really got one.
Shannon is a personable and very professional lawyer. She speaks in plain English and makes everything easy to grasp. No legalese here!
I would recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney for wills and trusts!
