I would give zero stars if I could. He did absolutely nothing in my case. Showed up late to the hearing and was completely un prepared. Kept my money and did not ever provide a billing statement.

I met Keith Staten almost ten years ago. He has been a court appointed attorney for several people that I know as well as a family member. All of the people that he represented lost their case. I saw firsthand how he treated them by not returning calls and never coming to court prepared. I rarely heard him object to anything the prosecutor or judge had to say. He just rolled with the punches and went along with whatever the other side said. All while my loved ones suffered and received the maximum sentence. He shouldn’t be allowed to be an attorney. Please don’t waist your money or your loved ones life on this joke.

Mr. Staten is amazing! I never expected to meet a defense attorney this extraordinary. He has been a savior during the most stressful time of my life. Mr. Staten has shown me that he is intelligent, resourceful, reliable, patient, positive and has a beautiful heart. I will always be grateful to him for helping my family. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to others in need. 😀

While it saddens me to write this review I have to do it for families who are expecting better outcomes for their incarcerated loved ones and seeking legal services to help. Especially those who are in the low income territory during this pandemic. On September 22nd, I reached out to this lawyer in desperate need of help and resources. He agreed to look over my fiancé’s case and help us with strategy for our final trial date. On October 20th, I paid $500 to reserve and confirm a time to meet with my loved one before his court date, several months in advance. My fiancé was scheduled for court Today, January 21st and has not received a meeting with Keith, although multiple follow ups have been sent directly to his email and office. He was not prepared at all for court and faces the worst outcomes on major charges. The reason I chose Keith Staten initially was based on his self-noted reputation with the community. I was surprised when he said it was $15K to hire for trial but was very happy to at least have his mentorship. However, those values has not been shown to me personally nor consistently and integrity is everything. Please do not waste your time or money. I am saying this firsthand, this incident have has attributed to the stress of the court process. It is disappointing and unsettling when your loved one is not treated as expected. Well wishes

He lied to My Son through his whole experience before court and during trial. He was never available to answer questions, falsified almost every answer given to my family. He tells you what sounds good in the beginning but did NOT FIGHT for my Son's freedom AT ALL...

he’s the guy for the job

Keith and company are amazing. They take the time to explain things (admittedly, sometimes bluntly- but that is solely for the purpose of making sure there are NO misunderstandings) and work very hard to put all of the pieces together for formulate the best defense. He goes out of his way to make sure that your rights are understood and how to handle future encounters with law enforcement in a respectful way that ensures a good outcome. I would not trust my families fate to anyone else.

One of the best Legal Council in california even other paralegal practitioners would hire them for representation i was lucky and referred by a family member and it was the best decision i could have made.. Keith is a SHARK no matter how hot the water is that you may be in.. Highly Recommend.
