My wife and I suffered a head-on collision while visiting family in the panhandle during the holidays. Our vehicle was hurting, and so were we. At first reluctant to call an attorney, we decided to call Anidjar & Levine when the at-fault insurance began calling and proactively making lowball offers on the following day. Far from home and not knowing what to expect, we first talked to Evan Gusky, who advised us on what to do until we could limp home in our damaged vehicle and injured bodies. Upon our return, he then guided us through the next steps of getting our vehicle repaired and our pain managed. After doing some research, we found the doctors that we preferred, and they all knew the practice by reputation and readily agreed to work with them. My wife and I both needed injections in offices and procedures in surgery centers before finding any significant relief. Despite all of this, the at-fault insurance made another incredulous offer. Before we finished treatment, we spoke with Mr. Elie Anidjar’s team, who turned it over to Mr. Steven McCoy in their litigation department. He interviewed both of us for about an hour. Less than two weeks later, he called to tell us that the at-fault agreed to tender the full policy for both of us. Of course, getting our vehicle and persons fixed mattered most, but getting the insurance company to acknowledge the disruption in our quality of life cannot be dismissed. Unless you experienced it for yourself, you would never anticipate the time missed from work (because of appointments and pain), distracted from family responsibilities, deprived of restful sleep and exercise, and stripped of joyful activities.
