I retained Michael after a not so great experience with a previous Lawyer and it was hands-down, the best decision I ever made. Halfway through my Divorce I completely stopped reading through all court related documents ( even though he advised me to look through them) because I knew with 100% certainty that he completely had my back after working with him the first few months. And that’s coming from someone with trust issues. Michael made my Divorce bearable, easy and the outcome of my divorce was way better than I could’ve ever imagined.
P.S I also agree with all the other reviews, Ann is awesome!
Thank you so much for everything!!
Kacie Crouse is truly one of a kind. She is kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her clients. Buying or selling can feel overwhelming, but Kacie will literally hold your hand through the entire process and never leave you hanging.
She is extremely intelligent and knows the law well, which gives her clients a huge advantage. You can feel confident that she understands the details and protects your best interests every step of the way.
She’s also incredibly responsive, you can text or call her and she’s there. She makes you feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the entire process.
If you’re looking for someone who combines professionalism, knowledge, and heart, Kacie is the one. I highly recommend her.
I had an excellent experience working with Mike. Always very knowledgeable and got us through some tough conversations. Thank you to Mike and his staff for a quick and painless mediation.
Mike handled my divorce through mediation and it was definitely the best decision we could have made. He made a very difficult situation easier. He is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, informative and thorough. His secretary, Ann is also great. Highly recommend!
Mike recently facilitated our divorce mediation; he explained the process thoroughly and efficiently. Ours was uncomplicated and involved only some basic negotiation. I appreciated his facts-forward expertise and especially the compassionate and caring attention of his office staff (Ann). Do be sure to contact him regularly, though; communication was a real concern, completed court documents sat on his desk for weeks until we reached out with concern.
Mike represented my ex husband in our divorce and perjured and deceived documents and the court in any way possible. The lies he told on court record and in documents are extensive. I'm currently vacating everything and redoing our entire divorce. He notarized loans for my husband to take against our home and ommited that loan from financials. He handled closing of our home and I was not provided a single breakdown, statement, closing costs, fees ect...nothing. He did pay himself unknown to me out of the closing money as was shown in the only document I ever got from him when I asked for our escrow balance (my attorney wouldn't ask for me) for handling the closing. In my calculations 20k is unaccounted for and my ex husband was cleared of multiple debts from closing profits that I had no idea of but on record Mike stated everything has been fair and equitable.
I'm not biased because he represented my ex. I actually felt bad for him having my ex as a client. I'm now realizing he was the perfect attorney for my ex as he aided my ex in contempt and fraud.
Owner response
Very difficult to respond to the vicious accusations made by someone that's not even my client. This person received everything that she was entitled to as part of a divorce, but unfortunately that was not enough. When parties ultimately don't have lots of assets to be divided up, everyone's economic life suffers: an unfortunate reality for many divorces. When people live together and rely on two incomes to support one household, $1 goes much further than when you have two incomes each supporting a new household. The economy is a scale.

I take great pride in my reputation and in my integrity. I have never nor will I ever perjured myself or supplied to the court anything that I know to be false and or manipulated. For this person to accuse me I'll falsifying anything is maddening. Unfortunately, there's little I can do to stop crazy people from doing what crazy people do.

As far as not providing copies of documents regarding the sale of the marital residence, all documents were provided to all attorneys so that they could provide those documents to their clients for review. My obligation as always is to my client.

My reality as a matrimonial attorney is that I will never be able to make every one of my clients happy about the result of a divorce. I do not create people's financial situations, nor do I have anything to do with the relationships that parents have with their children. I always attempt to have my clients look at the big picture and realize that a priority issue, when there is children, is making the children the priority and finding a way for dads and moms to work together. Many people get that concept, but unfortunately not all. I have big shoulders and absolutely can take constructive criticism when warranted. To have a non-client attack me, when she was represented by a very good attorney, leaves me at a loss.
Working with Kacie Krouse was one of the most frustrating and costly experiences of my life. Their complete lack of communication, urgency, and basic follow-through nearly tanked our home purchase — a deal that should have been straightforward was dragged out for months due to their inexcusable delays and inattention.
Calls and emails went unanswered for weeks. Critical documents sat untouched. Deadlines came and went without explanation. We were left in the dark while our timeline disintegrated and our stress levels skyrocketed.
It became painfully clear that this attorney was either overwhelmed, apathetic, or simply not competent enough to handle a real estate transaction. Had it not been for the persistence of others involved in the deal, this would’ve fallen apart completely.
If you value your time, money, and sanity — do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else.
Going through a divorce isn’t an easy process. It is emotional, and can bring financial hardship. We all wear many “hats” during our marriage. Mike taught me, the only “hat” to wear is what’s best for me. Mike was there to help me every step of the way, and he’s still there for me! Choosing an attorney can be hard, especially when going through a divorce. Having Mike as my divorce attorney was the best decision that I made!
