I am so thankful to have been referred to this lawfirm. I am still fighting a very complicated and unjust conservatorship case that has been going on since 2023. I paid this law firm a $10000 Retainer to represent me with my divorce. I think I was a client for approximately three months .When we went to mediation and I declined my husband‘s offer. I felt my Attorney Sam Brown did not bring anything to the table to help my outcome be more desirable for me… after the mediation I sent Mr. Brown an email asking why he did not submit more information helping me get a more positive outcome. Immediately after I sent the email to Mr. Brown, Nigel Burns who owns a law firm sent me an email telling me “to quit hounding Sam , my entire $10,000 retainer was exhausted and to find a different attorney”. That’s fine if they no longer want to represent me anymore, but they needed to give me some type of refund so I could afford to hire another attorney . instead, I was left stranded with nowhere to go.
