In my opinion Attorney Bernstein, sometimes blurs her own emotions into the cases she represents. This is not fact and only my opinion but she seems to be willing to make outlandish accusations only to walk them back later in a court of law to save her own reputation when she was clearly wrong. Not very trustworthy. Do not recommend.

I met with Stephanie herself one time 4 years ago and thought she was great. I reached out to try and schedule another appointment and was called by a secretary. Secretaries should not be speaking on any matter or giving any idea of what might be discussed if they aren't fully certain. She was dismissive and not listening to me and tried to tell me what I might need while going about it in a very inappropriate manner. It made me feel so uncomfortable that I ended the conversation and went with another attorney from town.

So let me tell you about this power of a law firm!! Stephanie down to her paralegal and the secretary's are all a strong 💪 team! That’s dedicated for there client and me being that client that they all did everything and more that was claimed to me and getting me back my daughter!! From communication to consistency is not even close to good enough words and they made my heart ❤️ happy to have my little girl again!! There confidence and education is top level!! My expectations of what I could ask for was placed double that! If your looking for a lawyer and you’ve seen the show law and order it’s a scene from a movie of how they work in there office !! Thank you Stephanie for representing me and I highly recommend this firm HANDS DOWN !! You won’t be sorry!

Do not recommend if you are a man served with divorce papers. One sided, and not on behalf of her client. Too busy to address client issues. Expensive

Stephanie is personable, educated, and continually determined to work for her clients. She will always take the time, no matter when it is, to listen to her clients and advocate for them. We have been dealing with a difficult custody case for years and no matter the issue, she is very responsive and makes herself available to help us. No matter the role of her client (mother or father), she fights for what is right for her client and the child, and will stand behind and advocate for the parental agreement she works hard to get. We cannot say enough good things about her….we are so happy to have Attorney Bernstein on our side.

Stephanie was amazing regarding my custody case. When it comes to a child it’s hard to trust anyone, but Stephanie provided guidance, support, and reassurance. She was honest and did not sugarcoat anything which I loved because it made everything more realistic. I highly recommend her for any of your family court needs.

Divorced a man that was never held accountable for anything … got away with everything in Florida … hired this lawyer here in CT after escaping and being granted relocation and I finally get to say my baby girl is FINALLY SAFE! With her mom and brother and will grow up unscathed and happy in peace ! Always hold the hope that maybe he’ll one day want to be dad to this amazing little girl and take responsibility and get the help he needs…. But until he can be a safe person … I get to keep my baby safe! I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome… literally.. Thank you to the whole team over there !
