I ended up getting into a "road rage" situation, and was rear ended while riding my motorcycle, by a driver, who admitted to drinking. I was charged with speeding & disorderly conduct, as I told the officer I literally had no other choice other than to speed to get away from him or let him ram into the back of me, which despite my efforts to get away, he ended up ultimately ramming into the back of me anyway. I was extremely worried after receiving these charges. My job requires me to have a fingerprint clearance card and to be able to pass a background check, so I was really worried about that. Rather than being treated like a victim who was rear ended by a driver who admitted to drinking, Tucson Police Department didn't care that he was chasing me, didn't charge him for it, they never collected his insurance information, so they never figured out that the driver DID NOT even have insurance!! The officers were so preoccupied with coming up with things to charge me with that they forgot to get his insurance information, which apparently didn't exist. I was freaking out, but I contacted Al and he went over my case with me and ultimately calmed me down. All in all, Al was able to get both of the ridiculous charges dismissed. The speeding ticket was dropped immediately, and the disorderly dismissed after doing a diversion class. So ultimately, I just have to complete the 8-hour diversion class, (two 4-hour classes I believe), then my charges will be completely dismissed. Al also is going to petition to have my records sealed as soon as the system allows. Al was very patient with me, and dealt with me venting/ranting to him about my case (Sorry Al!). I would highly recommend Al and his services, he always responds quickly and was on top of my case from start to finish. Thanks again Al!!
