I had an auto accident that wasn't my fault, I wasn't going to get a lawyer but went to the chiropractor who suggested it. I'm absolutely blessed by the chiro who pointed me to these guys! Deb, my paralegal, has been absolutely top notch and a true blessing to have worked with! I ended up with a really nice settlement and didn't have to put much work in as the team took care of pretty much everything and I really couldn't be more thankful!!! If you ever need a lawyer, these are the best around!!!

I really appreciated the guidance and help each step of the way. I came to the O’Connell Law firm, not even sure if I had a case. After speaking with Mike and Deb I was confident in their ability to get results and compensation for my accident. When I was unsure about how long something was taking, either Deb or Mike were responsive to let me know what step we were at and giving me estimated timelines for what to expect next. I felt that they had my back and helped with any questions I had. For not wanting to be in a position to need a lawyer, I’m thankful that I had them working on my behalf.

Deb and the team did a wonderful job on my case, got me the full amount they could from my insurance claim when I was hit by a stolen vehicle and had to begin a very long journey of recovery, the case is one thing I didn’t have to worry about. As long as you are patient and give them time to respond I have never had a problem getting a response to the questions I have had. I would recommend this firm, but you must make sure you have all your info to them so they can do their jobs.

Michael O'Connell was recommended by a neighbor to represent us in a car to bike accident where the driver was clearly at fault and was given a citation by Golden Police Dept. After the first meeting my wife and I could tell that he had no interest in the event and wanted to get this "small" claim over quickly as possible. However, since we signed with him we could not use someone else or he would charge us $250/hr for talking on the phone with us. The firm was unresponsive to our questions and one Paralegal quit or was fired during the 3 year process. When they finally had all the information from our case we had a phone conversation with him, he was not even familiar with the case, settlement amount or even who he was speaking to on the phone. He kept quoting incorrect figures and tried to get us to settle for a low ball number and lied to us by saying this is the best he could do. We did not sign and he tried to scare us and say that pursuing this further may cost us more money. During this time e-mails took weeks to respond, if at all. After we pushed back and asked him (unsure if Michael did any of the work) to pursue the full allowable event amount by the insurance company of the driver. They finally settled. Even after the settlement the bad experience continued. We received a $2k bill from the emergency room doctor. We were accidentally CC'ed on internal correspondence that admitted that the law firm missed paying this out of the settlement. So we were stuck with that bill. Do not use this firm. Michael reminded me of a used car salesman, he would call into his meetings from his car and was never fully engaged. Go elsewhere.
