I spoke to Jennifer on Tuesday in regards to a probate litigation case in which I'm trying to obtain an attorney for. Even though she's researching my case at this time, I just wanted to let it be known that she did excellent. I've spoken to a few lawyers and I'm not even from the Buffalo area, however she listened to everything I had to say and she really made me feel comfortable. With other firms they always let me talk for a few minutes about what's going on and what I need to obtain an attorney for, but then they hit me with their retainer and I would feel like they really didn't listen to what was going on at all and I would hang up with them a little frustrated. Jennifer was different. She was honest and straightforward with everything, but the biggest difference is she listened to everything I had to say and asked questions along the way that let me know she was listening. She was very understanding and not once did she mention how much it would cost to retain her. Had a horrible experience here. To start, after paying $400 for an hour consultation, the attorney I was meeting with showed up more than 15 minutes late. I understood that they probably had a busy schedule, so I didn't think anything of the tardiness initially. Besides that, I felt satisfied with our conversation and was looking forward to moving on with the process. Over a week went by and I had not heard anything back from the attorney I met with, Kevin Wicka. I reached out to further inquire about the process and was told that according to his notes, he was waiting for me to get back to him. Last time I checked, when you pay a pretty substantial amount for a service, you shouldn't be the one having to initiate conversation, but maybe thats just me. Either way, after going back and forth via email a couple of times to discuss when we would communicate next, Mr. Wicka stopped answering me and I have yet to hear back from him. It has been over a month since we had our initial consultation appointment. Huge waste of time and money while going through an already stressful time.

Finally I happened to come across this law firm and read some great reviews about the firm especially Attorney Kevin Wicka so I decided to call them . Emma at reception was very empathetic and gave me an urgent consultation slot right away and also entertained my request to pay online myself via a link emailed to me rather than giving out credit card information over phone. This all happened so fast that I could not believe that I would be finally talking to an Attorney and was quite apprehensive that the appointment might run too quick for me to able discuss to everything thoroughly in one sitting . But when I finally met Attorney Kevin Wicka all my fears were allayed as he made sure that all my queries and counter questions to his advice were answered right away. The legal advice he laid out was well supported by facts and he provided me with both practical and technical perspectives to my issues that helped really clear my vision regarding how to deal with the issue. He explained legal nuances to me in simple terms and made sure I would know what my next course of action should be .And this was what I was hoping to get out from a legal advice. We were lucky enough to get referred to the Tarantino Law Firm by another office in the Rochester area who couldn't take our case due to volume and honestly it was a blessing. We were assigned Kevin Wicka for a wrongful termination consult. Prior to the consult, Kevin thoroughly read through all provided documentation and demonstrated a clear understanding of our timeline, maintained a polite and professional candor, and shared his experience and offered expert legal advice. Kevin was honest with the odds of our outcome, and wouldn't just tell us what we wanted to hear in order to secure a commission. I called a couple months ago and left a message inquiring about what I believed to be discrimination in the workplace. I was called back and told that one of the attorneys could see me but that it would cost $375 for a consultation (regardless of what they claim). Then I was told that it had to be paid in cash, no exceptions. I was also informed that the consultation didn't guarantee that the attorney could form a case around my claim(s) and that he may only offer advice. Well I found that to be a bit odd. So I ended up passing on what would have likely been a waste of my time and money. P.S. I'm sure they don't have any record of Creature716 being in contact with one of their attorneys...but I'm also sure had I provided my actual name they would have no record of that either. All excuses, no accountability.
