I had a really disappointing experience with this attorney. I called to discuss what I believe is a serious tenant issue involving mold, habitability problems, and retaliation, but I was barely given the chance to explain my situation before being cut off multiple times. The conversation felt rushed and dismissive, and the attorney seemed more focused on quickly determining whether the case would be worth pursuing rather than actually understanding the details. I wasn’t able to fully explain the situation before being told they wouldn’t take the case. I understand that not every case is a fit, but professionalism and basic respect go a long way. I would have appreciated a more thorough and respectful evaluation instead of being shut down mid-conversation. Overall, not a great experience.

LENGTHY - I initially inquired with them JANUARY 2024... -We ended up settling out of court and through “mediation” April 2025… - I did not receive the settlement amount until AUGUST 2025. 20 MONTHS from start to finish. * No court, no trial. The “work” consisted of 1 initial zoom meeting, maybe 2 or 3 5 minute phone calls, laggy email communication over the course of a over a YEAR and 1 zoom mediation meeting in the end where we basically went back and forth starting at -$0 until we came “up to an agreed upon amount” which I believe was pre determined between attorneys before the mediation even began. Ultimately much less than me and my attorney originally discussed and agreed upon. PRICEY - I found out towards the end of the case & AFTER mediation from other attorneys, that the fee I was charged was WAY too much considering the amount of work that ended up being done (settling with no trial). I was charged 40% AND even when I asked the attorney to lower the fee (seeing as to how he “negotiated” down to much less than what we discussed) he declined. Not even a small consideration or adjustment. So pretty much HALF of what me and my family settled on was not what was given. We lost our home, had to move, medical issues that are on going and expenses before/during/after the incident came out to much more than 60% of what we settled at. FOR PROFIT ATTORNEYS/Not Really Client Success. - Overall, I wish I would have done more research on Mold Attorneys instead on going with the first one that agreed to take my case. 40% is ridiculous, especially if your case is strong, not complex, has all supporting evidence/documentation AND ends in SETTLING THROUGH MEDIATION! A good learning lesson for me overall. I know business is business and the attorneys just want to make money… but being Flexible, having clear communication and making your clients feel like a priority should be part of why your charging HALF of what their entitled to OR you should charge less if you don’t want to DO more/faster & more professionally. I’ve taken my loss. Initially I was gonna complain to the BAR… but later decided to just take my lesson & move on with what I learned about going through attorneys. Only writing this review because THEY requested a review. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend UNLESS you have no other options AND don’t mind HALF of your settlement amount being taken 🤷🏽‍♀️
