His expertise in family law is undisputed. He was tough but fair (in my view both are critical for a mediator). I needed to hear the tough truth of how the law would likely be applied. And I needed someone with a backbone who could nudge both sides toward a reasonable agreement. Although we did not come to an agreement in our first session, we appreciated and respected Tim’s approach so much that we chose him for the second session as well. I cannot say enough positive things about Sara and the team at Tim Edwards & Associates. After attempting multiple times to establish a parenting plan independently without success - I turned to acquiring counsel in hopes of finding resolve. Sara took on my case and from beginning to end was communicative, confident, organized and reasonable in her suggested solutions. During arbitration she maintained herself professionally and came very well prepared, which I strongly believe was tied to the fair but favoring results received.
