My name is James M. and I'm a veteran living in San Diego. Had a slip and fall at Vons in December of 2023. Broke my elbow and strained various parts of my body. Went to the hospital and then home with no thoughts of compensation. My sister convinced me about a month later to seek out a lawyer, so I did. Went to this website that had a list of about 30 or 40 firms and a space to write a short synopsis of what happened. I didn't expect anything(because of previous experiences) and was shocked(really) when I got a call back no more than 5 minutes later. The firm is TORKLAW. I wanted to share this part of the story because of of two things: 1) they were the only firm that ever called me back 2) theiir high degree of professionalism and knowledge about personal injury. On that note I want to share the lawyer who handled my case is ALLISON O'DAY. She more than shined handling my case. She was very accessible when I needed questions answered and on more than one occasion made sure that i completely understood what we were talking about before she got off the phone. There were numerous other things that were done to accommodate me and what I needed to get through this process.(dedicated text line, rides to my appointments, etc.). There were many other ways I was supported too numerous to mention; and I'm positive that she and the other lawyers from this firm are only able to provide this kind of service because of the behind the scenes super cadre of staff supporting them. My results?...close to a quarter of a million dollar settlement. Once again the only firm is TORKLAW and if you want to speak with an outstanding advocate from this firm ask for ALLISON O'DAY.
