Did some business with this law firm. Had a phone consult and spelled out exactly what I would like and was submitting an offer on a plot of land. No prices were discussed or contract agreed on with this law firm and I was not expecting a bill until we had done this. The firm passed me off the the paralegal who was not part of my consultation so did not have an understanding of what I was wanting on my offer. I received a document that seemed as though Triebsch took no notes or even paid attention. I had to email the paralegal and call multiple times because every letter I received was wrong and was not I had asked for. I would have been better off having chat GPT draft my offer as it was an informal letter and having the attorney review the final deal. I received a bill not only for my conversation but I was billed for every single email I sent stating that what I had asked for was incorrect. I called to speak with the attorney to review the bill and he was supposed to call me back. He ended up having his book keeper call me back and state “pay whatever and take your business elsewhere”. I was polite on my phone call and was treated poorly. I do have much more business and another property I am in the middle of purchasing and am glad I did not continue with this attorney. I would have not have had a problem paying for the consult and the drafted document. All I needed was a call back to go over it and also a way to pay the bill as there was no way listed for how they accept payments. “This is how we have always done business” is a poor thing to say.
