Working through an unemployment issue when you're already down from lack of work, confusion, stress and money is running out on your own is daunting. They DO call back. It might take a few days but they're the only free resource regarding UI in the Seattle area don't you think they're probably swamped with calls? Do you know any other lawyers/advocates that would even possibly take your case on a free/donation (albeit a very small one) basis? Give them a break, if they DIDN'T call back maybe you're the reason? Would you call back someone who blew you up everyday? Or left multiple rambling messages? Would you want to call that person back? These are people trying to do the most amount of good with limited resources. They're a charity, not a state / tax funded program, They don't OWE you anything. Be clear, be respectful, and be short with questions and long with listening to the answer. You should be ashamed of you left them a 1, 2 or 3 star review. Didn't your mother teach you beggars can't be choosers? If you don't like the way a charity Acts don't put yourself in a position to need a charity...

No one ever answers the phone. No one called back after my intake when I left messages. I was told to call and despite knowing I only had a week left they ghosted me. Highly unprofessional and I wonder if this is allowed by the Bar.

had a great experience working with Andy. He makes sure to walk you through everything and that you understand the process and the legal arguments he plans to use. After months of having this stress, my case was overruled (in my favor) the same day. thank you Andy!!! only issue is the communication process of getting through to the service. you have to call and leave a message for a call back every time. so if you miss their call, you have to call back and leave a message again. I nearly missed my intake call because that call is from a blocked number (rather than their normal line), but my phone automatically directs blocked calls to voicemail. that's really my challenge with using ULP.

My representative was overworked and therefore ineffective. I felt as though I was just a number and that I was under-serviced. Think twice before accepting free legal services.

I left several messages with several different people, never heard back. I decided to call until I was able to talk to somebody, when asked, she had no answer for lack of correspondence. With my hearing the next day, she asked if I would like to consult with someone, but that I wouldn’t be able to have representation and they would need me to postpone for 3 to 4 weeks until that would be a possibility. So, I told her I would appreciate a consultation before my hearing. I received a phone call from A woman who sounded like she had nothing but contempt for having to speak with me. Needless to say, she and I did not get anywhere, she was so rude that I was never able to have discourse. And how about the unprofessional voicemail guy. this place is a joke, Don’t waste your time!

Never respond back to customers on time.
