I enjoy Kim as a person. As a victim in a car accident in 2015 I suffered a concussion with likely permanent damage to my frontal lobe and I could not think for myself. The settlement came a year ago. Disappointing primarily because the doctors who treated me for 18 months did not keep standard records of my treatment. Their bill (over $20,000.00) has yet to be paid to the best of my knowledge because it was Kim's promise to me that she would negotiate a waiver or a significant deduction in light of how their substandard record keeping hurt my case. Kim verbally promised she would settle the matter by the end of 2018 and that she would email me a detailed update with her progress in Dec. of 2018. Sadly, I never got an email update nor did I get any notice of her negotiating a waiver for their bill. I have waited approximately 1 full year thus far with over $20,000 of my settlement money sitting in her bank account waiting for her to negotiate a reduction to this bill. My last written request for information was Jan. 24th 2019. In light of this experience I am writing this google review for Kim’s Legal Practice. I also will be filing a complaint (specifically for the doctors who treated me) with the state.gov board who licenses them. I will take this down if things change and Kim follows through on her promises. I've been more than patient. I hope it is a case of her just being too busy and not something else at play. However, my expectation is that injured clients like myself need the mightiest of advocates when our lives have been forever altered due to an accident. What do when she does not follow through with her responsibilities and promises.
