I contacted Wade Law Corp through MetLife Legal Plans to inquire about estate-planning services. My wife and I were still reviewing the proposal and had not signed an engagement letter or formally approved any work. Before we confirmed that we wanted to proceed, I received an email indicating that draft documents were being printed and mailed for signature. I replied the same day asking that the process be stopped because we had decided not to move forward. I was then informed that the documents had already been mailed, and the following morning received a message stating, “We are done with you. The file is closed.” I found the experience confusing and disappointing, as materials were sent before we had finalized or authorized the engagement. This comment reflects only my personal experience, and others may have a different one. I cannot comment on the firm’s legal work or results because no attorney-client relationship was established.

Back in September of 2018, I was served with a Federal lawsuit involving allegations of fraud, money laundering and RICO/racketeering. Mark was super helpful and the signing process took only about an hour. No waiting around for things as most of it was done remotely.
