Mr. Wells was excellent. He only does Social Security disability and has been fighting for people with disabilities for over 30 years. Before I found him, I spoke with 8 other attorneys who primarily handled personal injury and just dabbled in disability. Once they realized my case was challenging, they weren't interested. In contrast, even before Mr. Wells had decided whether to take my case, he offered to help me practice for the ALJ hearing and gave me great advice about getting a reevaluation with my old doctor. Since Social Security sets a cap on how much attorneys earn, and it isn't that much, Mr. Wells could be earning far more handling other types of cases. He does this because it's very difficult to get on disability, and almost everyone needs a lawyer who can guide them through the complex rules and represent them. He's also known and respected by the office that handles the hearings, which makes a difference. I highly recommend both Mr. Wells and Crystin, his admin./paralegal. Both are incredible people doing very necessary work for those who need it most. There aren't enough words to say how totally pleased I am with the professional service I received from Mr. Wells. After being initially rejected by Social Security...which was expected and very typical...he was able to calm my fears and explained the process of appealling that decision. By following his directions and getting the medical records and paperwork he needed, he had my appeal filed with days and less than six weeks later it was approved!
