I called John on Monday and was told to be at his office at 2pm. At 1:50pm, John walked in and we talked. I gave him a brief rundown on our case, 16 YO Boy charged with possession of a firearm.. John gave me a reasonable quote and on Tuesday I received a call that our Detention Review Hearing was set for Wednesday at 9am. At 8:50am on Wednesday John walked into Strickland ready to represent. He gathered information and worked directly with the Judge and DA to propose a reasonable offer and by 12pm my son was released to me. Before I hired John, we were appointed a public defender, Ashlee Alexander, who doesn't answer the phone and let my son sit in jail for 3 weeks! Within 72 hours of walking into John's office, he did what I had been begging the PD to do for 21 days! This man is MAGIC 🎩 and we are so grateful!

Just a good guy! Known John for many years. Help me get through some of my younger days mistakes. Recently needed some information on a high school buddy who was incarcerated. I have plenty lawyer friends, neighbors ect. Fun guys to visit and golf with. Haven’t talked to John in 20 plus years but he was able to answer my questions and and was very informative. I have dealt with this attorney a couple of times and if anyone knows him they know he is not a phone person. You have to make an appointment to see him in person for any updates on your case. If you make an appointment to see him, yes there will be others waiting ahead of you. No one seems to understand the caseloads that any attorney has. Everybody seems to want answers now and that’s completely understandable. However, please understand that Mr. White is one man that has hundreds if not thousands of clients. So be patient and make your appointment for a face to face. I’ve seen this guy in action in the court room and there aren’t many attorneys that can do what he does because they don’t have a relationship with the courts. Cut him some freaking slack because he is one of the best at what he does. If this man could call everyone one back Lord knows he’ll never get any sleep. If you want immediate answers talk to a paralegal or hire an investigator along with Mr. White. You all want real results and want pay over $10,000 is crazy to me. It cost to get the Premium or Platinum services.

My case is going very good so far with mr.john white I was nervous when mr.bernett passed my case to him but all is well and looking good on my end

I hired Mr White to represent my fiance little did I know that Mr White was overload with work and didn't have time to do a good job he not only didn't do a good job he didn't even try..

This is the worse attorney in the state of Alabama! He wants to take your money and not do the work. He took my sister money and stopped answering her calls. No one have money to give away and not get the service that was paid for. Shame on you Mr.White🤦🏽‍♀️ If you’re looking for a attorney to fight for you it’s definitely not him and don’t want to give refunds after he know he didn’t do the job he was hired for.

DO NOT HIRE JOHN WHITE AS YOUR ATTORNEY!!! We hired Mr. White to represent our son after he was released on bail. He required us to come to his office in person, and pay the $1500 retainer in cash, which we did. We thought that was strange, but did get a written receipt of our payment. After a few weeks had passed with no communication from Mr. White, we began trying to contact him by phone. Every time we called, his EXTREMELY rude secretary would tell us that he wasn't in the office, but she would give him the message requesting that he call, or even email us with a case update. The last time we called his office, his secretary stated that all of the court cases were moving slowly due to covid. That made sense to us, so we trusted that we would either be contacted by Mr. White or the Court about any upcoming court dates. Fast forward to today...our son was arrested yesterday for Failure To Appear!!! When we contacted the court about this, they said that the notice they had sent for the court date, had been returned due to the Attorney giving the court the wrong address!!!! We have made multiple calls to Mr. White in the last 48 hours requesting a call from him, but have not received any. The last call we made resulted in his secretary hanging up on us after telling us that she had given him all of our messages, and if we wanted to speak with him, we would have to come into his office in person!!! We live in Nashville, TN, and have now had to spend an additional $3700 to retain a new attorney to correct Mr. White's mistakes. This man is a crook, and clearly NOT able to competently keep track of his clients! We are filing a complaint with the court, and the Bar Association, but do yourself a favor, and avoid John White, and his incompetent office staff at ALL cost!!!

I have used Bob Clark, Byrd, and a couple more over the years. And I would recommend Mr White over all of them one Hundred times over. He is personable and every conversation isn’t about money !!!! Thanks for great job you’ve done for me. L. Bringhurst
