I started my disability 4 years ago on my own when I found out my disease and when I seen my specialist she told me to go to a lawyer because I can't deal with the stress of doing my disability on my own because stress deteriorates my brain so I met with Jessica at Whiting Law Firm give her my information after the day we met she ignored every phone call text email so my doctor started faxing her everything all these years go by she never touched my stuff when we finally got a hold of her she never sent my stuff through

I just want those at Whiting Law— Jennifer Cohen, Paul Whiting, associates, every last one of them to be aware and fully understand just how badly their actions have truly impacted and ultimately, for lack of a better word, honestly ruined, what was already in very poor standing health— my life, during my most vulnerable state. **To ANYBODY reading this who may be considering doing business with this firm, I urge you to take every 1 star rating here into VERY serious consideration as Whiting Law has earned every last one of them. If you’re getting attendant care & replacement services, you can kiss those goodbye the second you sign a single dotted line! Not only am I a child of God, I am a woman of integrity and try everyday to live my life God did give me a second chance at by a set of values and morality— accountability being at the very top of that list. So whenever (IF ever) I place blame, it is because harm was sincerely caused. I was misled, ignored, kept in the dark and never once given honest communication. After a 6 month hospital / inpatient rehab stay, which staff advised should’ve been longer due to a catastrophic motor vehicle accident, I was told by hospital personnel it would result in a life where I would never walk again and would need a legal guardian to advocate and make decisions for me as I could barely speak, couldn’t yet walk and from a TBI as you might imagine, was left feeling extremely confused. I did not fully understand the legal process, my rights, OR the impact hiring an attorney would have. Hell, I didn’t even understand I was HIRING a “lawyer.” I had just begun to realize the case manager who had been with me from the day I realized I was even in the hospital— was in favor of my insurance company, and not that of helping me. I only picked up on that when I started noticing patterns of being asked if any of the things I was suffering from could’ve possibly been happening BEFORE said accident. So, I trusted Whiting Law to guide me honestly. NOT to be against me. While staying with my 94 year old grandfather (both of us in rather equal health), he called 1-800-CALL SAM after seeing them on TV. They transferred him (well, me) over the phone to somebody from here. Two people came out that very evening before either of us ever knew the name of the company TO be able to do any research, making a 2 hour drive and quickly had me sign a STACK full of papers. They made promises they very clearly never intended to keep, and took what they could from my situation. No one explained to me that simply contacting them would automatically entitle the firm to take 33% of my attendant care and replacement service benefits I was ALREADY RECEIVING directly from my own car insurance — along with benefits that were NEVER IN dispute. I was also never told they would threaten to sue my insurance company, which ultimately quickly STOPPED those AND the LIFETIME benefits I was entitled to under personal injury protection laws. These benefits included lifetime medical and treatment I won’t get into that I desperately needed, and still need to this day. Throughout the entire time they “represented” me, I was never able to reach an actual attorney. Phone calls were ignored, messages unanswered, and I was left completely uninformed while dealing with a very serious head injury. Months later, after collecting what I can only imagine were tens of thousands of dollars from my ins., they randomly sent me a letter stating they were no longer representing me. Answered the phone, “um, we’re not your lawyer.” I was cut off of EVERYTHING that supposed to be guaranteed to me for life. And during thee most critical time of my life. The harm that Whiting Law has caused me is something I will live with for the rest of my life. They took advantage of my condition, my trust, and my vulnerability — and I’m left still paying the price. I try to remember God’s judgment is the only one that will matter in the end and thus I don’t get the authority to judge another for sinning differently than I do, but SHAME ON YOU.

No concern or effort. Ijeoma was disrespectful and lazy and the reason for this review. I even asked to be represented by someone else and was denied. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I urge you to avoid this law firm at all cost or it will cost you. they will not fight for you they're lackadaisical about everything they I charged me before a consult with another law firm . again, they will not fight for you. the only thing they do is charging you. they do that very well you have to keep initiating conversations with them extremely disappointed. it was a great case, an auto accident. or some girl hit me. there was zero thought on jury selection once again goes back to lack of experience in my professional opinion. Go hire a big name lawyer. you owe it to yourself

Srill a five star! We have been working with whiting law for over 10 years now, and they will and do fight for you! They changed our lives forever and never gave up. Even through the law change when everyone was so lost and scared, they fought even harder for us. They never give up!!!! I was taken back when I seen some of the reviews, we have worked with Jennifer since she has been there and she always calls us back, anytime we leave a message she responds within a day if not the same day. Phone calls are returned the next day, however if you e.mail her she responds right away. We have not always been the easiest clients and Jennifer has had nothing except patience with us. I'm sorry to hear others have had bad experiences all I can say is everyone has a bad day every now and then, we absolutely adore her she works diligently and professionally for us and we are so grateful to her. THE WORSE LAWYER FIRM EVER !!!!! I have never been so disgusted with a firm in my life, they lie, lie, lie and when it came to speaking with a judge, my supposed lawyer came on the phone and I have never spoke to this man in my life, I did not know WHO HE WAS, DISCUSED !!!!!!! I recommend NO ONE HIRE THIS FIRM, THEY WILL NOT FIGHT FOR YOU !!!!

They will not fight for you. In fact they will convince you the insurance your fighting against is right. They will not fight for your rights nor your human self at all. Never will I recommend this office ever.
