I would not recommend eric evilsizer by any means! He absolutely does not communicate throughout any portion of the case unless you pressure for it and even then its days before court appearances. He struggled heavily with getting a complete discovery that had specific evidence that would win my case! He doubts the case from about midway through and always soumds burnt out or overwhelmed! He left me no choice but to plea out to the original offer do to failed work ethic on his part and also false promises! He gets you right up to calander day and drops a bombshell on you to plead out because there is no chance of winning in trial ( his words) he is an over paid public defender, which by the way I've seen public defenders do way better than he did With other cases on the same day as mine. Bottom line is stay away from him. He doesn't care about you or your future. He cares about the paycheck and he clearly works with judge cotton and the state's attorneys. Heavily. As she's expressed that several times in our conversations! I wish I would have went to trial but with how strict judge cotton is. I only had about 4 days till trial and I did not trust him to get me through trial so therefore I had to plead out complete. Waste of money. I could have got myself the same plea agreement that he got me 5 grand less! May I also state that I called at least ten other lawyers that were half of his price and his team swore they were more expensive because they were very experienced. And would win your case, no. They just take your money. They can care less Eric, specifically about your case or your future. If I was whittle and melton, I would fire.Eric asap! It just seems like he's got way too much. Going on way too much workload. He don't care completely frustrated and disappointed on how my case turned out!!!!! I really do wish I had more time to find another attorney which is what made me leave this review! I would do heavy research on any lawyer firm. Prior to hiring them, the most expensive is not always the best clearly. In my case, and in my opinion, my case was a complete. A washout. But like I said, above they wait till the last very last second to give you basically no option although then to plead out or they will walk away from your case. I wish I can give details on my case.Unfortunately I cannot!
