I’m not sure where the breakdown in communication is happening, but it has been incredibly frustrating. I have sent multiple emails asking for basic confirmation of receipt and clarification about whether I am being represented, and have received little to no response. At one point, I was told over the phone that the office “couldn’t help me,” without any further guidance or referral. Some of my emails were apparently sent to a junk folder that isn’t regularly checked, and I was then blamed for the lack of communication. The confusion is further compounded by being told that I am not represented, while the office continues to take actions on the case. There has also been no clear step taken to formally remove the office from my case, which has made it difficult to move forward on my own. Attorney Williams may be skilled in his work, but the lack of communication and follow-through has made this experience unnecessarily stressful and confusing. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

Ok now I speak safely from the crazy workforce commission stuff now. But just wanted to come out to say that for a few seconds I encountered and met Sydney Williams and was a client through the Travis county court appointed system.. Had to give 4stars. Cuz everybody he talked to even me a natural warrior type when neccessary. He was a very nice guy. And I can totally there is no one on earth that could disagree that not receiving compensation sucks. And I totally understand and bear no ill will. Since I bear no ill will. I only had to switch to UT legal clinic was because I was in fact innocent and was dismissed by county attorney due to “get this” “insufficient evidence. But I knew this the whole time and needed a lawyer that could challenge the legitimacy of the charge. And I tried tell Mr. Williams I was in fact innocent. Well supposedly due to resources he could not do what an innocent man would need from an attorney. Well I bear no ill will and this is coming from a man that has extremely limited on what he could thanks to twc abuse. But yeah ppl, if u want a straight to rep criminal defense attorney. In my humble opinion that short January was a big hit with me, he was a big hit at the Va. And u skip a lot of etcs when u can afford an attorney. If I could have afford a fullblown defense to actually being innocent I totally would have offered to pay and hire Sidney Williams. I wish the luck of the Irish leprechaun and his pot of gold on the Williams law firm. Very nice lawyer. Definitely worth the money when one doesn’t qualify dues to exceeding the income requirements of legal programs

⭐☆☆☆☆ “If you’re looking for justice — look elsewhere.” Sidney was my court-appointed lawyer. I came in with evidence. I left with betrayal. From day one, I was silenced, delayed, and emotionally dismissed. I had to fight harder against my own defense than the actual system that arrested me. Emails ignored. Evidence buried. Affidavits sidelined. And when the pressure got high? He folded. Instead of advocating, he panicked. Instead of defending, he deflected. He even tried to scare me with my own wife — forgetting law, forgetting ethics, forgetting humanity. This man didn’t just mishandle a case. He mishandled a mother’s tears, a family’s pain, and a citizen’s trust. Do your due diligence. Check the cameras. Then check your conscience before you hire. Want the receipts 🧾? I’m not sure what the strategy was… but it felt like I was the only one fighting for my case. Communication dropped, timelines were ignored, and accountability was nowhere to be found. I wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy being left in the dark.

As a mother living in another state, the feeling of helplessness when my son was in jail and I couldn’t be there for him was overwhelming. He had no one — no family nearby, no one to bail him out, no support. But then came Sidney Williams. This man didn’t just talk — he acted. He drove all the way from Houston to Austin the same day, personally bailed my son out, and handled everything. He moved faster than I thought possible, and got my son released just in time before he had to report to work. Without Sidney, who knows how long he would’ve been stuck in there. No other lawyer would have done that. Not same day. Not with that kind of heart. Sidney Williams is a rare kind of man — someone who treats your child like his own. He gave me peace in a moment of deep fear and gave my son hope when he felt abandoned. I pray Allah/God blesses him tenfold for the way he showed up for our family when no one else could. If you need a lawyer who actually cares — Sidney is the one.

I highly recommend Sidney Williams. From day one, he approached my case with understanding and strategy. He didn’t just show up for court — he showed up for me. He made sure I was informed, respected, and protected. His rates were more than fair, and his dedication was priceless. You won’t find many lawyers like him. What see you waiting for? CALL HIM Right away!

Sid and his entire office are super professional, courteous, and kind. From the start having prompt communication, a well-explained game plan for my case, and a lot of the leg work done for or explained to me was helpful. A truly down-to-earth law firm with compassion and a drive to get things done - appreciate y'all.
Owner response
I would like to express my sincerest appreciation for your kind words, but the truth is that people like you are fighting to make this world a better place through your hardwork and sacrifice. Thank you!
