Jack Wilkins represented my son in law. His fee was $40,000. He talked him into pleading guilty in exchange for his charges reduced from 25 to 12 and no more than 20 year's. Mr Wilkins did nothing to defend my son in law. My son in law was sentenced to 50 years for what should have been 3-10 years. On public records we could look up the plea agreement and it was the opposite of what Mr Wilkins said it was. There was no reduction of charges or limit on sentence. He allowed unsubstantiated evidence to be used in the prosecutors closing remarks that inadmissable.

Jack is a great lawyer. He is well respected in the courtroom, has a good knowledge of the laws, and he has a good sense of humor. He is masterful in his closing arguments. I was hoping I never needed a lawyer again after the last time I needed a lawyer, but glad to have found Mr. Wilkins.

Useless. Hired this attorney for my fiance. They were well aware during the consult that I COULD NOT afford to pay on my own. The agreement was to ask for a bond modification so we could bond him out and then he could work and help get the attorney paid. I paid a partial down payment towards the attorney and he then flat out refused to put in for the bond modification. Did not speak with myself or my fiance about the case AT all other than to tell him he would not be requesting a bond modification. Being that I was unable to make the payments on my own because I also have bills and 2 kids at home on no income (which he was well aware of upon retention) he decided to withdraw from the case. I had chosen him because he had agreed to work with me on paying and his reviews were good. Biggest mistake of my life. I could have paid my rent for almost 6 months with the money I lost investing with this attorney. Be warned he will do nothing until he has all of his money no matter what verbal agreement you have with him. We would have been better off with a public defender.
