We chose this law firm because I personally trusted and followed the attorney for a long time and believed she was a dedicated and reliable professional. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing, not due to the attorney directly, but because of how the staff handled our case. From the beginning, there were problems with our vehicle repairs. Our car was sent to Sterling McCall, where it was taken apart and then moved to another shop. It was returned to us in poor condition and never the same as before. We were repeatedly given timelines that were not met. We were told we would receive an update in December, then that we would receive our first offer by January 19. Each time, we were promised return calls that never happened. Communication has been very poor and inconsistent. Recently, we were told the next step is to file a lawsuit, but without a clear explanation of what that process involves, how long it will take, or whether there will be additional costs. Instead of progress, this process has resulted in stress and loss. We hope the attorney can review our case personally and improve communication and case management for future clients. Based on our experience, the lack of follow-through and poor communication have been the biggest issues. I hadn’t had the chance to provide an update earlier, but we received a call from the attorney the following day. She took the time to listen to us and explained that she generally prefers not to take cases involving the government due to their complexity. I wish this had been communicated to me from the beginning, but unfortunately, it was not, and my case was accepted. She also advised, honestly, that we should not expect a significant reward from this case. She mentioned that she would not be receiving much from it either, saying that the outcome would not cover her payroll or allow her to retire, which I felt was unnecessary to mention. She stated that she essentially took the case to help us as clients, knowing she would not be compensated well. The attorney did offer us the option to withdraw and seek representation elsewhere. My spouse and I chose to continue with her, understanding that transferring an active case can be difficult. We decided to wait for communication from the other party rather than pursuing additional action. Overall, we are disappointed. Had we been given full transparency from the start, we would have appreciated it. I share my experience here to provide context, but it does not necessarily reflect how others may experience working with this attorney, as every case is different.
