While every case is different, this was not the level of service I expected from a legal professional, and I would not recommend this attorney based on my experience. From the start, they had photos, the police report, and were aware the at-fault driver was from out of state. I was told since their demand letter was declined they would pursue the other driver directly and escalate the case. Later, they appeared to reverse course without a clear explanation and instead added those additional expenses to the billing. Despite the fact that I already had a chiropractor and an established treatment plan, the firm referred me to an additional sports medicine clinic. That referral raised serious concerns for me. I felt pressured toward an invasive spinal injection that I was not comfortable with and the long-term effects were not adequately explained. Despite refusing all services suggested by this clinic, I was charged nearly two thousand dollars simply for an initial visit. Although they later offered to reduce this to $600, I find any charge unacceptable given that I declined all treatment. Most concerningly, the firm accepted a low-ball settlement offer without my written or verbal authorization; I was only informed after the fact. They took 43% which is excessive given how for one how poorly the case was handled. 57% was left over to pay the chiropractor, MRI and the "referred" clinic to which they are in cahoots. I ended up with a paltry 19% after it was all said and done. This firm walked away with close to 7k on a 16k settlement I am truly convinced I would have been better off handling this case on my own. This firm’s handling of my settlement and their referral practices were unacceptable. Please, do yourself a favor and find a firm that values integrity over a quick fee.
