I highly recommend attorney Kristin Weaver to anybody that is going through a divorce or fighting for child custody, as she is the best attorney in the state of Texas. She is very knowledgeable, and always gave the best advice for the situations that came up throughout my case. She always made sure to explain all my options to me throughout each step, and help me navigate through the legal processes. Throughout my entire case she always showed compassion, empathy and understanding, and always made me feel like my case was significant to her. All of these characteristics Mrs. Weaver represented made one of the hardest, messiest hurdles in my life just a little bit easier. With that being said I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work, and dedication she put towards my case and the custody of my son. Kristy Banda also assisted me here and there if Mrs. Weaver was ever out of office, and I have nothing but good things to say about her as well! If you like paying over 20k for a failed mediation and having your bill increase with zero work being done, then being left to represent yourself these guys are great! They definitely did not have my best interest in mind and I hope somebody does to them what they did to me. Do not trust them.

Horrible experience with Krista Banda. My case clearly should have begun after I sought severe grief therapy, I'd lost my son and a month later his ex took his daughter away from us. It was too close to both losses for me to fare well in court, and I didn't. I paid them $15,000 as a retainer, but a rapid fire of extensive information either in their possession or not relevant. There were four paralegals working on my case in addition to having co-counsel in court. I did not even get asked if l wanted to pay for that. Then she twice tried to charge me for communication from opposing council, demanding his court fees when I had 30 days to respond. She has nothing to do with my paying him. The second co-counsel actually handed me several papers to sign regarding our financial situation as i was waiting to be called into the courtroom. She served no purpose nor did the financial paperwork I didn't fill out. Total was $22,000 and no tests run to prove my assertions of abuse. Please don't expect a fair assessment of your case. The trauma this entire event has caused me is unimaginable and the excess charges were improper. All of the above is my perception and opinion of this situation. Please don't try to go to family court when you haven't grieved. All the above is my interpretation.
