I don't recommend this law firm. I had a very poor experience with Gallardo Law Firm. From the beginning, there was significant pressure to make payments and move forward with the Chapter 13 process without receiving clear information about the timeline or how the case would proceed. After paying the initial $500 deposit, the firm sent me the list of required documents and a “Release” form the following day. This document stated that the review and filing process could take up to 60 days after all documents were submitted and full payment was made. However, this important information was not clearly explained to me before I was asked to make the initial payment. When I decided not to continue with their services, I went in person to their office to request the cancellation and refund of my $500 deposit. Instead of addressing my request directly, I was passed from one person to another. I was told I needed to speak with a manager, but I was never given the opportunity to do so. They repeatedly stated that the deposit would be kept “as credit,” even though I clearly expressed that I no longer wanted to proceed with the case. It became clear that the firm's priority was to collect payments quickly while making the deposit non-refundable from the start, without providing proper clarity about the process and timeline before asking clients to commit financially. As a consumer, I believe I had the right to receive clear and complete information about the scope, timeline, and terms of the services before being asked to make payments, especially in a matter as serious as bankruptcy. Unfortunately, that clarity was not provided. I do not recommend this firm. I had a very bad experience with Gallardo Law Firm. Unfortunately, that clarity was not provided to me. I do not recommend this firm.
