Your Insurance Attorney

Sebastian and Jorge were here on time. They were very helpful and provided all information. They were absolutely courteous.

2023 We invited Your Insurance Attorney into our home and we regretted it ever since. We had damage to our roof and a slab leak in our kitchen. We were told we definitely had a case and they will get our home fixed. We went through the process and its been a nightmare ever since. Your Insurance Attorney called and said "Sorry your case lost". My heart dropped. How? How can this be? Buy insurance, damage happens, damage gets covered. Not so simple after all. I asked multiple times for the court documents. I had to search for myself. What i read from that judge is heartbreaking. Court dates were missed, filings were late, and proof of the damage didnt exsist. What we pay for actually does not exsist. Judge seemed frustrated and now we recieve a call asking how much we want to pay in attorneys fee for losing. Wait...what? Beyond angry, we were sickened. Now our property insurance is up for renewal by April 7th 2026. We are responsible to have all damages repaired by this date. Cost us $20,000 for a new roof. $6,000 for rerouting of our water pipes. Plus $2,700 for renewal of insurance. Thats not all. Now we have mediation on 3-10-2026. We were never informed from Cameron Lewis our attorney during mediation of our rights. We were threatened that our house will be taken from my son and forced to sell to get thier money. Also if we didnt settle the judge would force us to pay up to $30,000 maybe more because we would go to court and the fees would rack up. Not once did he tell us our home is protected by homestead and that protection goes on to my son because he is soul heir to the estate and hes lineage. Not once did he tell us that because we are both disabled and collect ssi the judge would most likely reduce the Attorney's fees not make them higher. All is a possibility, but Cameron Lewis never mentioned this to us. NOT ONCE. He agreed with the mediator and told us we had no choice! Now we are responsible to pay another $10,000 to Citizens for attorney's fees. I also am still responsible to continue making payments for insurance i do not have. Now I email these simple questions about not telling us our rights and I recieve an email that he is no longer our Attorney, to find someone else. Ofcourse he did. The damage is done. I should have known when they had our estimate of damages for more than what the house is worth. That was a red flag.
