Clean, comfortable, friendly service, and a pretty decent hot breakfast!
Had some issues during check-in which was a pain because it was past 12am, so we weren’t off to the best start, but I was won back in the end.
The good:
- spacious room
- really impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Bathroom was sparkling.
- fridge and microwave in room. Can set the power on the mini fridge (louder if more cooling)
- shampoo/conditioner/body wash were pleasant, not overly scented. Lotion, face soap, shower caps, makeup wipes also provided
- generous number of towels
- comfortable pillows (polyfill and down options)
- charging ports and electrical outlets above both bedside tables
- heating/cooling system worked well. Set your own temp, mostly very quiet
The could-matter-to-you:
- toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors etc have to be requested
- a good variety of breakfast items! but if you’re expecting a full banquet of options you might need to adjust expectations
- soundproofing is so-so. I didn’t have any noisy neighbours (that I knew of), but I could hear when people opened or closed their doors, and it weirdly always sounded like my own door opening which was a bit startling.
- lots of lamps, which each had their own switch on the lamp itself. Not a big deal but not as convenient as when they’re integrated.
The bad (to me):
- no slippers available. It’s difficult to really relax in a room if you have to choose between outdoor shoes or socks/bare feet on hotel carpet.
- the free wifi is pretty slow. Free wifi is available for 7 days, and you can opt to pay $5/day for faster internet. Feels rather outdated in 2026 to throttle internet.
Overall still very pleased with the stay!

We had great service at this hotel. Steven and Trey were attentive and kind checking us in, and the woman who checked us out around noon on 2/23 was all smiles and just had a great energy about her.
The rooms were as described, had comfortable sheets and the temperature was great once we adjusted it to our liking. It's not a five star hotel, it's just a comfortable place to lay your head at night. The rooms were adequate and aside from some scuffs on the walls and minor wear and tear, we didn't find any faults. We will definitely stay here again. Oh, and the selection of snacks in the lobby was great.

If you are visiting family in the hospital or taking a class near Emory Jones Creek Hospitsl, this is a great place to stay. Clean, brightly lit with beautiful decor. Breakfast was better than most of the Hampton Inns. For those of you who do not like hotel coffee, there is a Starbucks across the street, which is about a five minute walk with the traffic light.

Excellent stay and Outstanding Service!
I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, but what really stood out was the customer service. Noel at the front desk was incredibly friendly, professional, and very helpful. From check-in to answering questions, he made the experience smooth and welcoming.
It’s always refreshing to be greeted by someone who genuinely enjoys helping guests. Noel is a true asset to this hotel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others.

⭐ 0/5 – Extremely Disrespectful and Unacceptable Front Desk Experience
Place: Hampton Inn & Suites Johns Creek, GA
Date & Time: Saturday, December 27, 2025 – around 2:30 PM
I arrived to check in and waited at the front desk for over 10 minutes. When a staff member finally appeared (later identified as Thomasina), I politely stated that I was there to check in.
Her response was shocking.
She gave me a hostile and contemptuous look, did not greet me, did not say a single word, and refused to communicate. Instead of speaking, she shushed me, ignored my presence entirely, and continued working on her computer as if I were an inconvenience rather than a guest.
When I asked why she wasn’t speaking to me, she still refused to answer, pointed silently at the card machine, and continued to glare at me with clear disrespect. When I asked for her name, she ignored me completely.
I have traveled extensively and stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, across different cultures and countries. I can confidently say this was the worst front desk interaction I have ever experienced.
This was not just poor customer service—it was demeaning, unprofessional, and deeply disturbing. The attitude and treatment strongly suggest racial bias and a complete lack of basic hospitality standards. Someone who treats guests with this level of contempt should not be in a customer-facing role, especially in a brand that claims to value welcoming service.
I am writing this review to warn potential guests: if respectful treatment and basic human decency matter to you, think twice before choosing this property.
This incident should be taken seriously by management, and appropriate corrective action must be taken
Worst hospitality’s person ever in the check in.
So rude , disrespectful , unprofessional and racist to us .she doesn’t even want to look at us and just point to the machine to pay the money speechless with frowny face . Even when we took to her she doesn’t reply or care . Even she checked us into the wrong room . I’m so disappointed and upset.
It’s a big chain of hotels and they should care about their customers .
We were in GA promoting our brand and we have been to so many hotels and this one was by far the best hotel customer service I’ve received in a long time. It was so refreshing to have people actually communicate with you and inquire about your day. Micheal in the kitchen was the most sweetest. He had the holidays music playing lightly the ambiance was so nice and the dining and kitchen areas was spotless and delish !!! I couldn’t believe there were so many options! The young lady who checked us in was sweet and inviting and the laughs we have had last night with the evening reception was memorable. They actual are hospitable here. Like they actually get it. 10 stars ! I’ll make sure to come stay here again. Clean quiet professional friendly inviting smooth sailing experience from entry to exit.
There is really not a better Hotel at this price point in the area. Consistency across the board is key when I travel and this Hotel meets the mark every single time. Sometimes I choose different Hotels in the area when my budget allows it but otherwise, this is the one.
Used to be our favorite but it seems to be slipping. We have stayed here a number of times. There are 5 hotels in the area and this is the only one that doesn’t seem to have cleanliness, bugs or noise issues.
Our first stay was remarkable – along with the clean quiet room with comfortable bed, strong wifi and good water pressure – super friendly staff, great breakfasts in a US hotel, hot beverages and fruit available 24/7, weekday happy hour with wine, beer, soda and cheese/cured meats. The breakfast has the standard Hampton Inn rotating hot items: scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, western style omelets, egg white frittata, black pepper eggs, bagel topper; with maple sausage slices, pork sausage patties, chicken sausage patties, turkey sausage link, pork ham slices, and (when you’re lucky) bacon; and redskin potatoes (these really need to be crispy not soggy and often served), hash brown patties, biscuits with gravy, pancakes; waffle maker with toppings (not the best we’ve seen – Boston had mini m&m’s and whipped cream)
And MORE: full size Chobani Greek yogurts, Chobani flip yogurts, fresh cut fruit including pineapple and strawberries, hot sauce packets
Cons: QR code tip cards everywhere (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast on every table)
The last couple of stays things haven’t been quite the same. One morning the cut fruit was melon only. The breakfast staff member was hoovering in a super uncomfortable way.
And over hundreds of hotel stays and the few rare times I’ve ever had to speak to a GM, I’ve never encountered a General Manager like Ylan because she really does not care what you have to say or need because “this is a business… it’s not our problem…”.
