I thank God for using my lawyer, José León Law, because... My court hearing was on February 7, 2025. I'm speechless. As you can see, in my defense before the prosecutors and judges who were against closing my court and approving my Cuban Adjustment Act, I thank him because, as a lawyer, he knew how to defend my case. In the end, the judges accepted what my lawyer wanted for me, which was the closure of my court. I hadn't even had a short time to hire him as my lawyer, and I feel joyful because we won and I am victorious. We are going to my residency under the Cuban Adjustment Act with my work permit. It's been nine months since I was released from an immigration detention center, and two months before that, I was released from the Duval County Jail in Jacksonville, Florida.
