I recently made an appointment with Jim Meason to discuss estate planning. In a very short amount of time I had all of my questions answered, and my documents in hand. I’m secure in the knowledge that my estate will be handled exactly the way I want it to be, and that my children’s interests will be protected. If you want peace of mind, Jim Meason is your guy!
he charged my neighbor over $8,000 for the estate planning and did not address how to have the monetary assests transfered to his heir. He also did three documents wrong, charged to redo them and only one of them is correct. even the county clerk said this is a mess as she was making copies of everything.

Unfortunately this conversation is necessary. Originally, I had no idea who this person was or what "neighbor" she allegedly was associated with. Jeannie was never my client, nor had I ever met, spoken, or otherwise communicated with her. <br><br>Coincidentally, the very next morning following Jeannie's post I had an appointment with a client and his adult son (from out of state) to pick up copies of documents from prior years and go over what had been accomplished at that time. My client believed that someone had broken into his house and stolen many of the documents I had prepared, and he needed replacements. About 5 minutes into that meeting, a woman barged into my office, interrupted the meeting, and demanded my client and his son leave due to another appointment. I asked for her name, and she responded "Jeannie". I asked if she was the individual who had left the one-star Google review, and she smiled and said yes. We asked her to leave so we could finish our meeting and she did. My client, his son, and I completed the meeting in another 15 minutes. <br><br>My work for the client corresponded to rough times for him and his wife, spanning a few years and involving estate planning, asset transfers, and the preparation of probate-related documents following his wife's passing nearly two years ago. <br><br>Contrary to Jeannie's comment, the Will clearly deals with my client's assets and heirs. And pertaining to Jeannie's comment that the "county clerk said this is a mess", employees in the county clerk offices do not give legal advice and there are signs clearly posted saying they do not give such advice. <br><br>My client told me he never authorized Jeannie to leave a Google review, that she never should have written the review, and he was going to ask her to remove it. My client and his son thanked me for all of my work at the conclusion of the meeting, we all shook hands, and they left. <br><br>About an hour later my client came back into the office and asked to use the phone. He said that he and his son were driven to my office by Jeannie, and she had stranded them there. This is a harsh reminder to exercise care in trusting and involving others in one's important life events. <br><br>I thank my client and his family for entrusting me with advising him in the face of major life events, and his wife, he, and I worked together during difficult times.
Jim helped us update our estate planning through his knowledge of recent changes in statues affecting probate, estates and trusts. He explained everything very thoroughly and in a way that was very understandable, and also provided us with handouts to help us better comprehend all of the information he shared. We highly recommend Jim for his legal knowledge and his personable manner.
James Meason is a very caring and thorough attorney. He informed us in easily understandable terms about the importance and value of the legal process we needed. Would highly recommend. He answered all our questions.
I have been dealing with the Treasury Dept, the Social Security Dept and the Small Business Administration about a loan I did not take out. My social security was being docked for a repayment amount every month.
