I didn't get the help I needed here. I chose another law firm because the wait time for an appointment was too long.

Stalwarts of the legal profession. Decades of high quality support for my personal property and business issues. Yes, it can be tough to get a hold of a specific lawyer sometimes, given their ongoing court schedules. But if you want something done right, give the task to a busy team. There is a good reason they are busy.

I called and even though they were not going to be taking on my case a nice person by the name of Michelle called me back with other attorneys that would.. she was so nice and caring and answered all my questions and if she didn't have an answer she told me who would or where I could get more information on any subject that was in question.. no one does that anymore especially I this day and age. Thanks for everything Michelle!!! You are absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!

In my experience probate is basically a process of the client gathering information and the attorney completing standardized forms and filing them with the court which seems straightforward and could be done by anyone with attention to detail. However I found errors (such as missing beneficiary and incorrect names and amounts) in every set of documents Pat McKenzie sent me. To make matters worse he was condescending to the point of insult. I cannot in good conscience recommend him for probate services.

If possible, I would not give any stars. This review is about Ms. Dannielle Pratt and what should have been a simple divorce case between two elderly people. One was 89 and the other was 86. Between the two of them they did not have much to split in the way of assets. In the beginning the two parties involved had agreed to a 50/50 split of assets and the divorce decree was filled out and filed with Snohomish County District Court. At this time there were no lawyers involved. For some reason during the ninety-day reconciliation period, Ms. Pratt became my step mother’s attorney and they contested the divorce decree. This divorce dragged on and took 2 years to get finalized because of the ridiculous demands that were asked for and did not get, as well as Ms. Pratt sitting on her laurels basically ignoring my dad’s attorney and not responding to the required legal documents. The mediation was also an expensive part of the process and ended with no agreement. During the mediation my father’s offers were turned down and if Ms. Pratt had directed her client to except, they would have received more monies than what they agreed to in the final divorce agreement. It was sad to watch a lawyer put two elderly people through a stressful and mental mind game for 2 years. I know what my father spent on his attorney fees which took all of his savings, so my ex-step mother must have spent around the same and used all of her savings. So, the monies they had agreed upon splitting 50/50 in the beginning went to attorney fees. To sum it up the expenses incurred in this divorce has more than likely depleted two elderly people’s savings accounts. In addition, it is a sad fact that Ms. Pratt waited 5 weeks to process orders that gave her client a death benefit in the event my father passed away. I wrote this review because I feel it is important for the public to know how Ms. Pratt conducted herself in this divorce case. I have no ill will towards my ex- step mother and I don’t think she had an attorney looking out for her best interest. This also cost my 89 now 90-year-old father unnecessary expenses for his attorney On the Mill Creek Law Website, Ms. Pratts profile states she is an advocate for the elderly. After watching my father and ex- step mother go through what I witnessed, I would have to say that is not the case. I don’t understand why Ms. Pratt made 2 elderly people wait so long to close an easy case. David C.
